We dodged a bullet there. I still think he’s a quality player, but if we had been in the mix for him at this stage and find an issue on the last day it would have been a major problem.

West Ham are now in this quandary and it looks like they will still go ahead with the transfer because they have no alternative- and they’ll be lynched by their support if they don’t bring in a name before the window closes.

Raphinha will cover all these bases for us and more!

Wet Spam have a problem now.

If they sign him and he gets injured they will be a laughing stock and West Ham fans will go mad again.

If they dont and he has a great season injury free for Brentford nobody will believe it was a failed medical but West Ham couldn't afford him.

Maybe west ham medical team learned their lesson from Wiltshire and Carroll, if they still sign him it seems the top brass havnt learned a thing. Is odd though as he isn't an injury prone player.
