Raphinha
Here we go again.
Without wanting to tempt fate this seems to be edging closer.
23 year old left footed (but of course he is) Brazilian winger.
Confirmed by Phil Hay and Rennes have signed a replacement.
Bit of a surprise with the reported fee given its only a few million more then Rennes paid for him and he did well last season but maybe he has a clause, who knows.
Rennes had a great season last season, Domestic cup finalists, 3rd in the league so Champions League qualifiers.
Raphinha was their 3rd highest scorer and 2nd highest creator.
League Title and Cup winner with Sporting in Portugal before he moved to France.
Imo a hint of Benrahma in his highlights.

£15.2m up front. French media saying he will need a work permit, yet he is listed as having an Italian passport on Transfermarkt.

Re: Raphinha- RUMOUR
No way is he signing for us tomorrow if he’s playing for Rennes today. I think we’ll be looking to the Championship for any additions now.
Re: Raphinha- RUMOUR

They're signing Doku from Anderlecht. Commentator said he expects both moves to go through tomorrow.Boo Radley wrote: ↑Sun Oct 04, 2020 3:35 pm No way is he signing for us tomorrow if he’s playing for Rennes today. I think we’ll be looking to the Championship for any additions now.
Perhaps Bielsa wants him to stay match fit?

Rennes agree to sell him but only if we let him play today.
Just seen who there owner is, didnt realise they were so minted!!!!
Make Man City look poor.

Re: Raphinha- RUMOUR
If you look at the rumours around the web it's only a matter of time before he is a confirmed Leeds player. He is apparantly undergoing a medical test now.
Re: Raphinha- RUMOUR
Raphinha is so quick he'll even catch Cooper's passes

Scenes when we have a 'Don't go to bed just yet' Tweet and we're unveiling Raphinha alongside Messi and Neymar

Re: Raphinha- RUMOUR
Wouldn't he have to go through a medical first? How can that happen if he's playing today?
