Under Bielsa we've won 2 games in the EFL cup and none in the FA Cup. Very poor.

Kiko being captain suggests he’s staying for the season?

Bielsa threw away the cup last year v Stoke and we lost an opportunity to give more fringe/young players a chance.

We're not big enough to disrespect the cups. Fans want trophies and cup runs.
I'm not too bothered, not right now anyway.

Yeah, a poor stat in fairness, one that would drive him nuts

For anyone not watching tonight’s game, it’s the worst I’ve seen us play in 2 years of Bielsa. I can’t pick a positive apart from we should be 3-0 down

Casilla will be when he makes one of his maniac runs up the pitch.

Just want to see Poveda given the ball more, he has the ability to do something different.

Also credit to Kiko for making 2 decent saves.

I agree with making the changes, but Davis and Cresswell at the back and Casey in mid is just too many. I would have played Koch to get more game time for sure, probably Strujik too. I think we threw in 2 or 3 changes too many.

And I’m sure he’s better at that than under a high ball :roflmao:

It's a wasted opportunity. We look like the Leeds of all of those 🤡 who were masquerading as coaches before Bielsa

Don't understand Bielsa's thinking here, unless he's trying to emphasize that most of this lot will never get a start this season for the first team.

Dreadful and disjointed performance.

These players should still be doing better. Shack, Douglas, Roberts, Alioski, Rodrigo are all experienced players.

Surprised its Casey and not Cresswell. Thought Casey was slight ahead in the pecking order

As faaip alluded, the youngsters will hardly have played since March and as such it was a big mistake to throw so many in, even if it is only Hull.
With 8 league less to play this season we should be looking for a cup run.
Still time to turn it around but a defeat will be embarrassing.
