I really hope he gets this job. I wonder if he'd try to sign any Leeds players?
I really hope he takes all the dross that he seemed to have such a high regard of. We can hire a double decker bus, fill it with our deadwood and get Cliff Richard to drive them to Bilbao while singing "We're all going on a summer holiday".

Adiós amigos 8-)

Not surprising really.

Valverde did a great job at Bilbao, better than Bielsa so was always likely to be the preference

Great.

He might be available in October....

Just in time for another battering at Anfield

Won't happen, as by then, we'll have 20+ points on the board.

Wrong Faaip, I have the utmost respect for Marcelo, those first three years were very special, playing some lovely football with Bielsa creating a miracle by putting us back in the public eye again.

My post was tongue in cheek in response to the previous three posts.

Hilarious mate

Hopefully that knobhead Southgate gets booted and Bielsa can have the England job for me

I don't want MB back at Elland Road, let's move on and get behind Jesse and make progress forward and upwards 8-)

It's amusing how the self appointed Bielsa Apostles, Faaip, Kenny etc call people "Haters" for being realistic about the shambles the team was in, physically, mentally and league position, when Bielsa was fired.
No matter how much we praise the first 3 years we apparently are "haters" because we point out the reality of that 4th season.

I just don't bother reading their inane diatribe anymore mate. It's just a repetitive cycle of s**t.

I appointed myself an Apostle?

Which month ?

God had lots and lots of reasons why the 4th term was going fair to middling.

I'm not a hater whatsoever, I was so disappointed it all went pear-shape for Marcelo....those first three seasons were the most exciting & best football I've witnessed from a LUFC side in a very long time!
