Last Man Standing 2020/2021
Welcome (back) to the Last Man Standing competition. Really excited to get started now that we're back where we belong. Very much hoping that, because LUFC has generated a lot more interest with promotion, we might see more players in all our competitions.
Here are the rules of the competition for those who are new to the game:
I will post a list of the week's fixtures. Players will pick a team to win from the week's matches. Winning teams/players stay in the competition, those that lose or draw are eliminated. The round will continue until only one player is left standing. If all remaining contestants are eliminated in a given week, a winner will be chosen by the following criteria:
1. draws beat losses
2. away goals
3. home goals
4. If this formula fails to break the tie, the round will be declared a draw
Players may choose a particular team only once per round of the competition. I will post a list of all remaining players for each round and the teams which they may no longer select. Once a winner is declared for a given round, a new round will be opened up and all players will be welcomed back in. The player who wins the most rounds during the course of the year will be declared the champion.
Good luck to one and all and to our defending champion Velotrax.
We moved this topic from the "Predictions Forum" over to "Leeds United Chat" on 30 August. so I will simply list those who already have their picks in for the first week of the Premier League season.

What fixtures? Pick one team from the first weekend?
We've been through it all together. And we've had our ups and downs
