I lived in Newcastle for a while a few years ago and they were pretty terrified then.

Must just live in a perpetual state of terror.

I read that Everton have won more games and scored more goals at Anfield than Liverpool this year, and it's March!

I wouldn't mind seeing Fulham stay up. I like Scott Parker. NUFC are a mess, an awful owner and manager, almost a century since their last title and yet a lot of their fans seemed to sneer at Leeds because they think they're a bigger club. And Brighton, again delusions of grandeur, getting rid of Hughton because they thought they were better than that. They're not.

Today WBA join Sheffield United in the absolutely going down category imo.

Need to make up an 8 point gap with 9 games left, thats not going to happen.

One of Fulham, Brighton, Newcastle and Burnley will join them?

Of the 4 id say Brighton and Newcastle are the most likely? Potter gets a disproportionate amount of praise for the job he has done and Newcastle are awful.

Never impressed with the baggies in the championship last season.

I would think your assessment is correct Cjay

And just in defence of us as a newly promoted side.

Should and would have got a point at the Champions had VAR not robbed us and it was before they had all their injuries (Liverpool, robbed of a point).

Deserved and got a point at the current league leaders and actually had the better chances to win (Man City- got 1 deserved 3)

Beat Leicester comfortably- 3 points.

Should have beat West Ham.

Beat Everton -3points

Beat Villa- 3 points

Should have beat Arsenal, did get a point- 1point

Deserved a point vs Chelsea, had the better chances to win.

So at some point this season we have taken at least a point of the majority of the top 10 and have deserved more in at least 4 or 5 games (Arsenal, City, Chelsea, West Ham, ).

Fulham just seem to have a bit of momentum dont you think Leon? Even though they arent maybe getting tons of points.

Dyche will make sure Burnley shithouse their way to survival as always.

So unless Southampton get dragged in (and they may ) Brighton and Newcastle look the most likely id say.

Yes Cjay they have more structure & style about their play. Scott Parker has surprised me as he seems to have built a team who are now difficult to beat, they have plenty of pace creating lots of chances but have struggled to put the ball in the net.

Apart from next week I wish them well as they are far more attractive to watch than the Seagulls & the Barcodes, would love to see Brucie or Potter where they belong next season.

Burnley now join Southampton on 33 points, although they have played a game more.

Palace push us down a place to 12th although we have a game in hand.

Newcastle really are awful, not just as a team but to watch they are joyless.

No particular love for Brighton, held poor Ben White hostage and Graham Potter gets a bizarre amount of praise for a bloke whose only got a 25% win percentage but they are head and shoulders superior to Newcastle tonight.

If Newcastle lost every game between now and the end of the season you wouldn't be the least bit surprised.

Shame really, like Newcastle the city, loyal fans to.

But my pick to go down with WBA and Blades.

Your money would have to be on Fulham.

They’ve got a couple of winnable fixtures coming up - if Newcastle have to go there and win... ouch.

Dean Smith has done well to turn around the Villa defence.

That being said Emi Martinez has gotten a lot of praise which does show that the defensive praise may be a bit misguided maybe?

However, Villa are still offensively entirely reliant on Grealish it seems.

If he doesnt play they dont create anything and only manage 0.8ppg which over a season is 30 points.

Doesnt reflect well if having spent nearly a quarter of a billion pounds in 18months your team still dips to relegation form if 1 player is injured.

Good season so far

Leeds pushing for a top ten place

Fwank, Ole & Jose with their multi-million worth squads found out this season

All the lauding of Big Sam, Chris Wilder & Steve Bruce whose killing exploits of the game proving it doesn't work anymore in the PL.

The Owls heading to League One, just hope the codheads are not promoted

So City are running away with the title, they have Dortmund tonight and again next week in the Champions League.

The best thing for us would surely be for City to lose or draw tonight and then need a refreshed squad for next week. That way they may be tempted to rest players vs us?

Rest of the top 4 is interesting, despite Manure being nothing special they will probably get 2nd.

Leicester probably will get 4th but given how they collapsed last season you cant be sure.

Then you have teams falling over eachother to throw away their shot at 4th.

Chelsea, Spurs, Everton.

West Ham occupy it now.

Liverpool arent far off, even Villa could in theory make it (they wont).

Interesting race at the top

Despite Chelsea's shock home defeat to the baggies I reckon they will finish in the top four at the expense of the hammers.

Citeh will rest players v Leeds which shouldn't effect the result anyway unless they field their 3rd team which won't happen.

Villa continue their poor form without Grealish and drop out of the top 10 for the first time.in. ages (all be it with a game in hand).

Fulham losing to Wolves and Newcastle beating Burnley probably relegates a decent footballing side in Fulham and means BruceBall will be inflicted on those long suffering Geordies for even longer.

Spurs throw it away and allow Manure to solidify 2nd.

Hecky loses yet again and the likelihood of him losing every game in charge of Blades gets ever closer.

West Ham beating Leicester means only 4 points separate Leicester in 3rd and Liverpool in 6th.
