Sheffield United need to beat Wolves tonight or they are finally down.

Its very likely now WBA and Fulham will join them.

A win for Liverpool tomorrow would get them into the top 4.

And for us, a win tomorrow would put us within 2 points of Spurs in 7th.

Anyone else find the amount of praise Graham Potter gets really weird and totally disproportionate with what he has done?

He did well in Sweden, fair enough.

He did an ok job at Swansea, not great, not bad, just ok.

But Brighton?

Hardly pulled up any trees at all, basically a fancier Burnley, pretty paterns but very little substance.

Yet Potter is lauded as a coach.

What for?

Potter is just that lazy journalism, when they want to throw in a name to appear clever..was listening to some sports show today and they were talking about next Spurs manager and one pundit suggested Potter! Brighton haven't really progressed at all since sacking Hughton...

Wolves losing 4-0 to Burnley, their fans losing patience with Nuno? His style is fine if you are winning but if results aren't going your way its a real chore to watch.

Chelsea's win over West Ham puts Chelsea in the driving seat for top 4 unfortunately.

Was hoping West Ham would get 4th, as many of the sneaky 6 as possible that dont get top 4 is great.

We are currently 9th, Villa in 11th have 2 games in hand and can overtake us but without Grealish they are a poor side, they are 18th in the form table over the last 12 games which says it all ( we are 7th).

The win for Burnley puts Brighton as nearest to the bottom 3

Our defeat to Brighton combined with Fulham losing to Chelsea probably confines Fulham to relegation.

Everton losing to Villa ends any slim hope Everton had of.top 4.

Everton and Liverpool have 2 games in hand over Spurs.

Entirely possible Spurs get no European football whatsoever.

If Everton can better Liverpool's results then hopefully Everton can get top 6 and Liverpool end up 7th in this new conference European cup thing

Just got to hope West Ham can catch Chelsea (although seeing Tuchel showing what a proper manager can do compared to Fat Frank warms my heart )

How joyous would it be if only 2 ESL twats got Champions League, Chelsea got Europa League, Liverpool had to settle for this new Mickey Mouse European Competition (3rd level European football) and Spurs got nothing

Hecky has managed to have a worse points per game record than Chris Wilder this season.

Thats a heck of an achievement.

Feel for Baggies fans, but looking forward to the pundits making excuses for Allardyce. Only in England could you be celebrated for not being relegated.
