Re: Player Profile : Ian Poveda
Another player difficult to rate as Ian played less than two hours football for our First XI
Re: Player Profile : Ian Poveda
Squad player, I think he can develop here.
6.5/10 - looked promising in the games he played

Re: Player Profile : Ian Poveda
He was bought in i think on the recommendations of Pep, so he must have something about him. Aparently he is full of confidence in is own ability and he's now had a little time to get used to Bielsa's methods, so he needs to push on this season. I'm not sure if he is a multi-position player? but i hope so.
5.5/10 A bit harsh maybe? but i'm hoping he will become the ace in the pack and bag a few goals from the bench. Next seasons rating will hopefully be much higher.

Squad player. I think a pre-season under Bielsa will do him the world of good and I expect him to start matches by the New Year.

6.
Didnt see much of him but looks lively, will develop well.
Depending on who comes in a loan to one of the Chanpionship contenders might be in order.
Send him to Brentford amd they can sell us Mbuemo.
If he stays squad player.

Looked lively, capable and very direct when he came on as a sub for those few games. Bench player at the moment but useful to put some pressure on Costa to keep performing. He may well even oust Costa at some point this coming season. 7/10

From what little we've seen of him, he's impressed, easily looking a match or superior to seasoned Championship opposition. His link up play and final ball is just wonderful, and I just loved watching the lad in those final two games. Definite squad player.

Squad player - see him being on the bench with a chance to push for a starting spot
7/10 (very briefly but looked good when he got chance)

Re: Player Profile : Ian Poveda
6/10 (played to few minutes to go higher).
But definitely squad player.
He showed enough in his cameos to give Costa and Harrison a real fright.
His pacey and direct style is something Harrison and Costa could learn from, no turning and going back from Ian, he goes forward.
Plays with no fear which shows his self belief.
Hopefully MB doesnt just favour the old guard and Ian does enough to stay in his 1st choice 18.

He will suit the PL far more than the Championship.

Re: Player Profile : Ian Poveda
I agree, although I would rate him a bit higher. 6.5/10
Flashes of real brilliance on the ball; excellent pace. He's going to be an very good player for us.
Squad for now, but expect him to see significantly more playing time this year and, perhaps, starting in 2021.

100% keep
Squad player for the first half of the season and hopefully a regular as Pablo gets tired
Season rating can’t be high as he hardly played but 6/10

Want to see more of this lad, might be a better prospect than Costa
