Had a fine season and scored some very important goals. Confident he can do a job next season. He'll struggle against the pace of some of the top players I'm sure but I think he'll do OK overall.
8/10 The goal against Huddersfield will long be remembered.

Don't want anyone else at RB, even in the Prem. He's getting better and better, he plays to the very end of his endurance and can single-handedly inspire us to win at times. Will be one of our most valuable players for years to come. Deserves a point for one of the - if not THE - goal of the season with that Matrix-style volley.

Re: Player Profile : Luke Ayling
I think Ayling will struggle in Prem, this is cos he goes to far forward and can't/doesn't get back quick enough.
Other teams will exploit Ayling being too far forward, thus leaving our right side undermanned and more spacious.
Going to need a lot of work and thinking on his defensive play if he's going to make it.

Last season he was very inconsistent and started this one the same but since November as looked a different player really on the top of his game, would have been in my top 5 poty if he had played like it all season. my main concern is he's not the best defender and he will be coming up against much better opposition next season, only time will tell on that front.

Always wary myself , guess the poor games a couple of season ago still play on my mind , when he and O'Kane seemingly screwed up game after game . Think the club can do better but he can play a few places RB or CB . Squad player 7 .
Re: Player Profile : Luke Ayling
He'll be a guaranteed starter, but I am worried about his positioning and lack of pace to get back on the counter attack.

That's what they said about Samson and look where it got him!
Ayling's my boy. I love him at RB and I think he's a definite starter. Of course, the PL is a different world so we'll see. but right now I'm confident in his position.
A starter in our first X1

Most definately a starter... 10/10, I love this man... his so called weakness in defence, whilst fair for the most part has been a lot to do with the amazing high press game we were played (and allowed to...key phrase) (imo) I am sure " you know who" has had sessions with him and we will see him concentrating more about his RB role, whilst still being able to break out and lay impressive long balls
