Is Peter the first person on here to have a thread named after him?
I do remember one more about 6 years ago but forget the posters name. It will come to me though.

Thought Peter was being a self righteous git and Hector was perfectly reasonable, personally. Norm was a bit brutal though.
Still, it's always good to apologise, even if you're right.
Sorry.
strange apology.
If telling you that you were wrong to go to the pub after government advice to stay home and save lives makes me a self righteous git, then I am proud to be one.
Most people would call you a selfish bitch, but then I won't seeing as I am a gentleman
(sorry Hector, I will shut up now)

Second week for me now in lockdown now over in Malaysia. Lessons learnt from the Chinese response and have acted relatively quickly.
I don't mind too much, beer in the fridge, well stocked up, view overlooking the jungle and watching the new Freud series on Netflix. Life could be far worse.
Waiting for Godot.

It wasn't an apology.
Most people would not call me a selfish bitch, Peter, and that's the attitude that got you moderated in the first place.
Learn to disagree with people without being arrogant and offensive.

Peter & Sara
Please can we keep things civil on all topics & stop antagonising each other
We all have different opinions, even though we may disagree everyone should respect each others views
Thank you!

The problem has been Peter forcing his views onto others, and making personal remarks if they disagree.
Despite that, I've gone out of my way to be polite and reasonable to him.
I won't respond to him again.

Everyone has a right to an opinion but it doesn't mean they have the right to be offensive to those of a differing opinion. I always find the best way to have a dig at someone is in a way which they can laugh at the 'insult' too, if you have to resort to just nasty insults then it just shows a level of ignorance.
Anyone not understanding that and agreeing with it is clearly just a retarded muppet.

It takes two to tango!
You both have strong/firm opinions, sometimes it's best to keep a lid on it even though we do live in times of free speech.
I trust Peter to adopt the same attitude so we can put a end to the unpleasant bickering!

I don't think I even got involved (with any post one way or the other) in the seeming S/P spat, other than a
acknowledging Hector's apology

On that note, I feel this thread has said what I wanted to say, and it has run it's course, so with total mod agreement it is being locked.
Thank you all for your comments and for taking part,
