Well my nomination in the end was my third choice, just wanted to get a good cross section of options. The Mingus is a little out there compared to some of the Jazz in this poll, it's a slightly harder listen. But still very good
Aye I did see what you did there, very generous Faaip
I suspect there'll be a few more scenarios like this

Scoring pending on how many albums you vote for :
5 albums scores - 5, 4, 3, 2, 1
4 albums scores - 4, 3, 2, 1.
3 albums scores - 3, 2, 1.
2 albums scores - 2, 1.
1 album scores - 1
Does that mean your vote for your first album carries more weight the more albums you vote for?
Or would it go:
5,4,3,2,1
5,4,3,2
5,4,3
5,4
5
Anyway...
Dylan - Highway 61
Byrds - Tambourine Man
Coltrane - Love Supreme
Sun Ra - Angels and Demons
Hancock - Maiden Voyage

Beatles 'Rubber Soul'
Beatles 'Help'
Byrds 'Mr Tambourine Man'
Rolling Stones 'Out Of Our Heads'
John Coltrane 'A Love Supreme'
Blimey my nomination is not in my votes
Most likely 'Rubber Soul' will be the easiest choice for my album of the year during the 60's/70's decades

I can listen to most genres of music, with the exception of Jazz.
I’ve tried, but I just don’t like it at all. Strange really as I do like a bit of most things

If it's any consolation Faaip I enjoyed every album in this poll.
A Love Supreme featured in my votes & I was wanting to include Madien Voyage', 'Farewell Angellina plus my Dylan nomination in my top five. 8 won't go into 5
