SaraM wrote: Mon Aug 08, 2022 9:40 am My first choice nomination was Kruangbin - Texas Moon. It's 5 tracks and 23 minutes. I think we've had EPs nominated before; Slow Riot for New Zero Kanada, for example.

Never mind. I'll switch to Held By Trees, please. I love the Touré, but I suspect there's only a couple of others it'll appeal to.

Held By Trees - Solace
Nice. Lovely album, despite the "slightly too prog for me" last track.

Yes, said elsewhere it does drift into 'endless river' territory occasionally, but it's grown on me since the first listen. Thanks for making me aware of it.

……..and there was I just listening to your ‘current’ nomination…………I go through them all, either in whole or part, (depending on how much they hook me in) whilst sat here working.

Alright then, for a laugh... I'm currently listening to Messer Chups, so I'll pick that.

Think you'd like Held By Trees if you don't know it... musicians from Talk Talk, Pink Floyd and Dire Straits.

Messer Chups - Visiting the Skeleton in the Closet.

King Hannah

Earl Sweatshirt
Messa Chups
Black Country New Road

This is really difficult, with so many great 22 albums missing

Final one is a toss up so I’ll take Yard Act I guess
