Bielsa basically said Edmondson isn't ready

Anyone who reads my posts, I've been saying that for months

I love the man but he's not exempt from making errors as he's only human as we all are.

Bielsa was referring to the appalling booing from our fans last Saturday not what folk on MOT think.
Fans can post up exactly what they want but don't for one minute think forums aren't read by players, managers and owners alike and that it doesn't get to them.An ex manager I know gave the game up because of the online abuse, he often said he'd loved to have replied but it wouldn't have been professional, the biggest moan was fans having no idea what goes on at a club but second guess stuff and post it as gospel, whilst being way way off the mark. He'd say they ' know fcuk all but think they know everything'.
Saw him last night actually, said he really hopes we go up, loves Bielsa, the way he plays the game, the club and fans deserve it.

I'd still stick him on the bench, you don't know if you don't try.

What get me annoyed Ges is not the criticism, we all do it but it's the ill thought out stuff like

Rads is a skinflint or tightarse
Orta is a poor scout
Bielsa is stubborn

and a few more

When there's evidence for none of that, they're throwaway insults rendered as fact

Game analysis is one one thing, the rest is just recycled bile. Certain posters were critical of us in the notoriously difficult January window way back in the middle of December. We've been knocked back by 3 clubs, they don't want to sell but that's Radz fault.

Recycled bile is a matter of opinion but do you honestly disagree?

You don't think MB is stubborn?
Orta is a poor scout?
Radz is tight?

You may be fed up with the negativity but can you honestly say that you don't think any of those 3 things are true?

Yes to 1 of them, but i don't think he's tight, just won't throw money at it, money he hasn't got.
It was Orta that bought in Alioski, so you're probably right on that one too ;-)

I honestly don't mind anyone having a negative attitude, their choice, my problem is the same stuff being said over and over and over and over again.

1. We play good football and are 2nd in the league.
2. Up to now our transfer business sucks.
3. MB IS stubborn.
People may repeat 2 and 3 but that's only because they care about the club and would like to see the team achieving better results, maybe scoring a few more goals from the chances created.

It does given we have signed no one but would it have been better simply to go out and sign someone simply because they were available rather than actually being what we need to improve the team?

Problem is Weasel is that we need to improve squad depth, we are down to a 20 first team squad. From that we have Forshaw, Roberts and Shacks who have missed half the season already, and Coop and Pablo and Douglas who have been out twice through injury.
Add in Meslier who doesnt play, and Davis and Stevens who dont get game time.

This small squad business may be a club owners dream but it doesnt do much for my blood pressure.

As a owner of a football club or any other business I'd be mortified having to pay my employees to sit around a treatment room for months doing nothing.

We've been here several times previously, if it goes tits up they can always blame our fans

So what if forums are read by players, what are they made of glass. If they are that fragile I'd look for another line of work. Been interesting listening to the undr the cosh podcasts and their thoughts on academies and it producing technically good lads with no motivation and balls when up against men..
Hopefully we get a result today. Put Edmondson on the bench worth a try maybe he at least won't be a sicknote ah!
