If I was Southampton getting rid, I'd want an obligation to buy regardless of Leeds getting promoted. Just saying.

My guess is that's the sticking point...But we'd owe nigh on 40M going into 20/21 and that's a large chunk of change if we stay in the Ch. I do think the manager maybe getting used by the board to draw a line in the sand..used is the wrong word but you get what I mean

I do think Adams is worth it, easily the best player I watched last season and has flashed for S'ton, young, talent in spades, pace, short area quickness which I love in a footballer, strength, vision and flair. If I were accessing him as I would a college player for the NFL I'd be stamping Blue Chip prospect Elite traits all over his scout report

If we got him we'd have five of the 10 best footballers in the division ...Adams/Phillips/White/Hernandez/Harrison..Klich and Costa would not be far behind and neither would Ayling

I think he'd be worth it too. My understanding of the Costa deal is that the £15m is spread out over the length of his contract. Presumably we'd be looking to do something similar with Adams.

If money is the sticking point with Adams, then I say spend it.

It's not my money, so that's easy for me to say, but I think he'd be that much of a difference maker, and the money that would come to the club as a reult of getting promoted would make the money spent on Adams look like small change.

Don't those clickbait titles just get at you?

REPORT: FIRST-TEAM OUTCAST SET FOR MID-SEASON SWITCH, AS LEEDS MAN’S STRUGGLES SPARK ACTION

On no you think Bielsa is going to ship out Ryan Edmonson to some league one outfit
and leave us without a backup striker, and we are not getting anybody in this transfer
window. Orta is incompetent, Club wastes money on Nketiah. Threadbare first team
Oh dearie me what are we to do. Woe is me.

To confirm your worst fears you click on the link only to find out that it is all about
Leeds United academy forward Rafa Mujica joining Villarreal’s B-team on loan for
the second half of the season. It turns out to be a none event. Most likely most fans
didn't even know that Mujica was signed for the club.

But these so-called sports writers are so desperate for copy they pull these non
events out of their hats, because there is only so many times you can write that
Che Adams is coming not coming to Leeds. THe NewsNow feeds are full of this nonsense

Under-23 striker sends Instagram story from airport after journalist claims he is leaving Leeds
OH NO IT'S KALVIN... Oh no it isn't
Leeds need to rival WEST BROM to sign Champions league star
if you ever see a title with STAR or ACE then ignore it because you are going to be disappointed.
Fulham and West Brom’s depth during crises highlights Leeds’ shortcoming
Yeah and for all their depth when it comes to results they are in the same boat as Leeds.

They say fasting is good for you... perhaps until the end of this transfer window we need to go
on a social media fast. Forget about the Twatters on Twitter, the hacks on NewsNow, otherwise
we will get worn down to a frazzle, and our brains will get turned into engine oil from processing
all the rubbish that gets written.

You don't want to get caught up in that vicious cycle of having your hopes raised by the title of
and article only to have them dashed when you read the content.

Adams deal is dead now apparently unless Saints change their mind.

1 more Premier League target on the radar, not sure who it is but MB wants the foreign option (unnamed)

Orta doesn't want to go foreign as he is on record doubting how quick they can adapt.

I'd always trust Bielsa's opinion over Orta

12 goals and 5 assists in what amounts to 19 games in the Bundesliga.
6 goals in the Europa League
Everton, Arsenal, Southampton, Spurs, Palace, Barcelona, Villa

Tons of teams have been linked with him in the past.

Beren Cross who broke the Poveda story

Phil Hay has just tweeted an alternative target.

Before getting to excited.

He is on loan at Monaco, they have an option to buy although they hardly have used him, Monaco want to keep him but the player wants to leave.

Phil Hay has just reiterated what Cross said "Bielsa is very keen"
