Re: Today's Games
Bailey was immense.
Him for £30m is a far better value than James for £25m.

I laughed at one of the Newcastle vlogs, they said when they're at Everton that will sing Rafa's name louder and longer than the Toffees fans

Our defending on the whole is not too clever!White Riot wrote: ↑Sat Sep 18, 2021 6:04 pm First Villa goal was quality, but the second was like our set pieces defending FFS.

We'd be right in the without himWhite Riot wrote: ↑Sat Sep 18, 2021 6:16 pm I thought it was appalling last night against a truly terrible team.
Meslier saved our bacon, he's such a great lad
Fancy a young keeper standing out with experienced defenders in front of him they should be protecting Illan.

Re: Today's Games
Well if your two star defensive signings are never available, your rising defensive star is banned due to a crystal meth addict, and your experienced guys think it's ok to sit 10 yards off ASM it's gonna be like that.
On the KP side of things, her ran his guts out last night, and watched our forwards blaze away a hots of chances, and then had to bale out our defence on numerous occasions, please don't slag KP off anyone when he has a bellyful of our under ambition. He's fighting fires all over the place on his own, same as IM.

Re: Today's Games
Dennis at Watford bust a gut to score today, him & Sarr showing aggression and desire. Made me realise that we lack that rawness up front.
Another stonewall penalty overturned by ref/VAR in favour of a Super League club, Man City this time. PMGOL have no shame.
The nailed on James penalty was not deemed worthy of a mention on MOTD.

Re: Today's Games
Dermot Gallagher was on the channel I watched the game on and he said he didn't know why it wasn't a penalty . He could only assume that the challenge was as close to giving away a penalty as could possibly be now that the fouls law has been relaxed a bit.

A wicked deflection gives the hammers a lead

Re: Today's Games
Ronaldo scores a rebound off the keeper.
Last season Bamford's goal was ruled offside because he of a finger-nail, Ronaldo a full are offside & of course VAR allows it.
What a joke the PL is
