Re: Today's Games
The Premier League has caught up the top European clubs as both the Champions League & Europa Cup Finals could be dominated by English teams
Arsenal v Villarreal (Agg 1-2)
Roma v Man Utd (Agg 2-6)
Scum look to have confirmed their place in the Final after their first-leg hammering of Roma.
The Gooners v Villarreal looks the interesting game from a spectators prospective.
Re: Today's Games
Will be watching the gooners 64
Re: Today's Games
Come on Villareal, would love it if Arsenal miss out on European football next season after their latest shenanigans
Re: Today's Games
My god isn't Ian Darke the commentator so so boring, he doesn't commentate.
He rarely mentions the players name when on the ball, just spouts out meaningless stat after stat

Re: Today's Games
He used to or still does a lot of boxing commentating. To be honest Leon, so many commentators and pundits are truly awful at the moment. I think it's much more grating because they are wheeling them out from everywhere with so much footy on TV
Re: Today's Games
Female co commentator really grates
Re: Today's Games
Looks like Arsenal might not be in Europe next season.....poor old Kroenke ESL material, you're having a Larf
Re: Today's Games
I say to Jill, the repetitive stats man is back.
No doubt he'll be commentating the Leeds v Spurs match.
Re: Today's Games
I fell asleep so I missed the 2nd half. Tbh after a sleepless Wednesday night I went to bed about 9pm & thankfully slept like a log as I generally do .
Arsenal may not play in Europe next season for first time in donkey years.
I suspect the Gunners were banking on ESL football

Yes, I reckon Kroenke was banking (literally) on ESL
Re: Today's Games
Excellent. I'm just back from a lovely walk along the river with houndie. Now off out for lunch with Mr Swan and a good friend. Going to have my first proper pint of bitter for nearly 2 years.....cannot wait!

That will go down well I bet. I had a pint of the black stuff on Monday, my first since who knows when, it was even served at the proper temperature too... none of this chilled muck they have been knocking out these last 25 years either.
