Lowest points total at this stage for 30 years.
And now they have gone from trying to sign the hottest young striker on the planet (Haaland)
To trying to sign Leicester flop Islam Slimani or ageing ex Watford Striker Odion Ighalo

They will win nothing while they have Ole as boss, love Ole
A proper manager who knows how to coach beats Palace easily.
Give Ole a 10 year deal, watched them for a bit today, 100% a poorly coached team of individuals.
We may not have the most talented group of players ever but we are damn sure coached properly.

Bielsa should show the lads a picture of the league table, point to our position and Scum's and say "See this? This is what we want to maintain. You do this and the people of Leeds will throw virgins at your feet come the end of the season!"

Indeed Cjay similar reason why Fulham are likely favourites to be relegated under Scott ParkerCjay wrote: ↑Sun Sep 20, 2020 12:24 am They will win nothing while they have Ole as boss, love Ole

Rumours linking us with Dan James, although likely just the usual made up sh*te. I do feel that James has regressed due to poor coaching/managing at Man Utd. Players come to Leeds to improve but go to MU because it's MU not to improve as a player.
Would love to see him come to Leeds though and see what Bielsa could do with him. Would rather have him than RDP and see if Bielsa can convert him to a no.10.

Re: Oh Dear Ole ( Shame about Scum)
After doing a bit of research I've discovered that Ole has a very rigorous training schedule:
11am-12am - Turn up in your expensive supercar. Don't mind the time, we can be flexible if you want a lie in.
12pm-1pm - Hang about in the fun area. There's a ball pit, bouncy castle but most importantly a safe space to post those all-important Instagram and TikTok memes.
1pm-2pm - Suppose it's time to do some work. One half of the squad pass the ball about a bit, the other half practice easy free kicks. Make sure to let Ole score one for a cheap bit of PR.
2pm-3pm - That's enough hard work, time to finish off with 1 to 1 cuddles on Ole's sofa, where you can cry into his shoulder and he'll stroke your hair a bit before sending you home for your tea.

Re: Oh Dear Ole ( Shame about Scum)
very good!! And I think there's a germ of truth in this. Solskjar comes across as a nice guy, pal with all the players. This rarely works, the very best managers keep a certain distance and have a bit of the barsteward in them. He doesn't. Lets hope he's around for years!!!!mothbanquet wrote: ↑Sun Sep 20, 2020 9:34 am After doing a bit of research I've discovered that Ole has a very rigorous training schedule:

Re: Oh Dear Ole ( Shame about Scum)
I saw that quote again today - Luke Shaw said "We need more new signings." It was the same under Mourinho and Van Gaal. s**t. How many new signings do you need to make? You're right though. They seem to sign players at the top of their apex (Pogba), hope to get the best - watch them slowly regress, then go out and sign the next big things.
Interesting thought and pretty sad really. Without a coach that develops players, they'll always need more new signings

Watching on the doc the farcical way in which Swansea handled that whole deal, keeping the player hanging around, he had signed all his paperwork bar the one final signature... you had to feel for him as when the deal was pulled you could see it in his face, going to Scum is no good for any young players development, you either contribute from your first kick or suffer the wrath of the two faced fans... the only development at scum is the cheque book.

Re: Oh Dear Ole ( Shame about Scum)
We didn't get promoted, arguably we would have with Dan James. James was obviously gutted when that Leeds deal didn't go through. The documentary was painful watching for him. But ... he got a move to one of the top teams in the premier league. You can bet when that happened, he was never looking back.Smudge3920 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 20, 2020 2:57 pm Watching on the doc the farcical way in which Swansea handled that whole deal, keeping the player hanging around, he had signed all his paperwork bar the one final signature... you had to feel for him as when the deal was pulled you could see it in his face, going to Scum is no good for any young players development, you either contribute from your first kick or suffer the wrath of the two faced fans... the only development at scum is the cheque book.

Re: Oh Dear Ole ( Shame about Scum)
Would possibly have been even worse if he'd signed and we'd not got promoted as we might not have a) been able to afford him or b) actually been able to sign as the deal to sign was dependant on promotion. As such we may have put him in the shop window only to lose him.andrewjohnsmith wrote: ↑Sun Sep 20, 2020 3:23 pm We didn't get promoted, arguably we would have with Dan James.
