Very sad news RIP Captain Tom, I was so hoping he would pull through :cry: :bear:
I'm going back to 505, I saw them at Sheffield and they were amazing.

His parting gift... Well you know, he Just raised over £30m for the NHS that's all. Not a bad legacy to leave. Reaching 100yrs young is some achievement in itself. Sounds like he had a great life. God (if there is one) rest his soul!

I feared the worst for him when he was hospitalised with pneumonia.

The estate manager and my good friend had one 18 months ago, having the operation to remove it gave him a stroke, and he now limps, can't move his left arm, and has no logic reasoning.... Suffice to say, he is no longer the estate manager..... oh yes.... he is only 48
