Bamford has work to do to make it up to everyone, let’s hope he can do that in the second leg of the semi final and the final. He has undoubted ability at this level

Hourihane started the whole thing, was involved in two separate physical altercations including a punch and gets off with a yellow!

The instigator of the whole incident was Hourihane so it is ludicrous if the Villa midfielder escapes a ban.

To be truthful Villa & a out of control referee caused all the problems throughout the game.

Bamford is a utter tit !

I don't like to see any simulation in a game, it is cheating, pure and simple, and totally spoils it from a fans' point of view.

However, I feel there are mitigating circumstances here for Bamford, as I doubt he would have done any such thing if our players weren't being attacked. It's not the sort of behaviour he normally indulges in.

I guess it is was the linesman fooled? if not then Bamford should appeal as something did happen.
If he cheated then he is the enemy of Leeds and MB who hates cheating(Alioski dive for example)
the only way he can redeem himself is by firing us into the prem.

And Hourihane who attempted to strangle Klich ?

Thing is if we win game 1 without him chances are the bossman will stick with that 11 in game 2 and if it goes well the same 11 in the Final.

So according to my estimation we wont really want to see him play again this season. Or start at any rate.

Bye bye Bamstick

Leeds will be well up for the playoffs because of this especially if they face Vile. This has done Leeds a favour imo .

They've awarded him £5000 out of the victims of football fund, as Klich made him lose is cool, causing him to react in the way he did, the money is to help with the counselling he needs to get over the traumatic experience of Klich scoring a legitimately good goal.
They also awarded Grealish the same amount, on looking at the game they noticed the 8 fouls given, only 3 were actual fouls and they need him to talk to someone to help him discover why he dived for the other 5, therapy of that nature takes time and money, Leeds United will have to pay the money as they were the opponents, without checking they believed the player when he said he'd never done it before, as he had the bastion of integrity John Terry there as a character witness, being an ex England international, that is all the FA needed, there was no necessity to study any footage of previous games.
Off the record, the FA told Aston Villa that if the teams do make it to the play off final, they will have the officials primed to make sure all decisions will go in their favour and assure them of their promotion to the premier league. But this will probably not be necessary , because if Leeds meet Fat Franks Derby in the semi's, they have assured him of the same assistance.

Just noticed that the article for this is on BBC News front webpage (not sport).
Slow news day or do the Beeb hate us as much as the FL and FA?

I thought it was the traumatic experience of catching his wife in bed with Terry?

Bamford fully deserves the 2 game ban if not more total disgrace the way he reacted IMO he's not even that good of a player I bet Middlesboro couldn't believe their luck when Leeds offfered so much for him f**k him off in the summer

What/Who did he actually think he was doing this for? Himself? MB? the Team?
If we needed a win to go up then may be, but we were already doomed to the playoffs, MB hates cheating and as for himself, he must know with
cameras around the ground that he will be torn apart by fans, media and everyone.
The guy is an idiot and a disgrace to the Leeds badge

If MB feels so strongly about what Bamford did it's quite possible we won't see him in a Leeds shirt again although Ali has played all season despite his dive in the area earlier in the season - can't remember who against. Unfortunately footballers these days have this built in mechanism within them that says do what you can to get another player carded or sent off. It happens every single game and is shameful to say the least and then we have the ex cheats who claim it's morally wrong...please ,don't make me laugh! The people to blame for this are the authorities who let it happen every week and turn a blind eye to it and yet the minute a Leeds player does it the whole world is up in arms...such hypocritical tossers. If it takes a Leeds player to cheat and see us promoted I'll take it all day long because the whole bloody footballing world is doing it !

I don't doubt Bamfod has better stats, outside of the fact they're incredibly subjective I've maintained all season that Roofe is an off ball striker. Roofe is the better striker for me but Bamford has his strengths. Roofe is a natural footballer. Bamford a manufactured one. Roofe has the higher ceiling..

Bamford needs a goal tomorrow preferably early just to calm down but i think leeds generally perform better as a unit with Roofe . He has pace about him and closes down better than Bamford , its just a shame he's not taller as he'd be a bigger threat at set pieces too.

Well said. Bottom line now with Roofe and Roberts' season effectively over is Bamford has to lead the line now, what's done is done. Yes I was appalled at his antics against Villa but as far as I'm concerned any player who wears that white shirt deserves a second chance. Only he knows why he did what he did but now he knows what he needs to do tomorrow night and then hopefully in the final. There is no doubt he owes the fans and his team mates and most of all MB big time and now is his chance to repay them. I was more disgusted with the Saiz spitting incident to be honest as that was just vile but most fans were happy to see him come back in to the fold.

We see what Bamford did all too often these days along with other types of blatant cheating so while it was completely idiotic what he did for me it wasn't enough to warrant never seeing him in a Leeds shirt again. At the end of the day do we have any choice now but to hope and pray we see the Bamford we saw vs Preston. This is the time when it counts the most. For me, if he scores the goal/s that get us up then sure enough all will be forgiven. So come on Paddy, you've been an idiot, you know it and we know it but now is your chance to put things right.
