I'm not foolish enough to dream of been back where we were in the Revie era. But we've been a big club in more modern times. Winning the league under Wilko - although that was just a 2 season dream. We could definitely dream of been back where we were under O'Leary. I don't see us being top 3 for a long long time. But we should be aiming to be above Wolves and Leicester and pushing the top 6 every year.

That should be our next aim Andrew, an attainable achievement in itself when you consider where we were not so long ago.andrewjohnsmith wrote: ↑Wed Jul 06, 2022 5:54 am I'm not foolish enough to dream of been back where we were in the Revie era. There you go OB. Tbf it does look an extremely impressive set up !Orange Box wrote: ↑Tue Jul 05, 2022 9:10 pm Just watched YouTube Kalvins first day at city, (soz can’t do links). The lads cumming in his pants at citehs training facilities, he’s like a puppy with his first bone, says he’s never seen anything like it, he’s obviously happy there. His family look over the moon as well. Good luck to him, says the thing he’s looking to most is playing ‘with Jack’.
For me, he’s gone. Just shows how the rest of us love Leeds to the point of being blind to what can be achieved with a despotic nihilist regimes’ gazillions. Take the big buck KP, you’ll earn it.

No one needs to read it if they are not interested in KP any more.
Re: Kalvin Phillips - BREAKING NEWS.......
Kalvin is still a nice, polite lad.
Re: Kalvin Phillips - BREAKING NEWS.......
Well said 64! I will be watching ( and discussing on here ) his career with great interest whether folk like it or not. Like you say, don't read the thread if you're not at all bothered.

Nobody enjoys watching Man city play more than me but i am sure i wont be paying any special attention to Phillips like i dont Milner when Liverpool are playing and he was a product of our acadamy who has had a better career than Phillips will have.
Re: Kalvin Phillips - BREAKING NEWS.......
I'll be discussing with you then Swan, like you i wanna see the boy do good and hope the Bert prodigy is a huge success for Citeh, that is until we get as good as them which won't be in my lifetime.
Or until you know who comes back.
Still being proven right years on.
Radz is a businessman - and knows nowt about football.
Orta is a fraud - and knows nowt about footballers.
Bert - A footballing mastermind that they both got lucky with, end of.
Timely member of a clique.

Re: Kalvin Phillips - BREAKING NEWS.......
I kinda hope his career tanks and I like seeing City do badly, like their annual crashing out of the CL, so I'll read away!
Plenty of threads here contain post after post slating players who didn't quit the club.

Re: Kalvin Phillips
Don't care about him or his career.
He's not a Leeds player anymore so I don't particularly want him or his new club to do well, even though he did leave for "footballing" reasons.
He's no different now to all the other players dotted around the PL. Just another number on a shirt.
Wouldn't be surprised if he bombed and ended back at ER in the next couple of years.

I wonder if we'll ever see a one club player again. Doubt it tbh, even "Leeds fans" don't want to stay. Please be Archie Gray !
