Hero no.

But an example in fortitude yes.

Hero begins when he single handedly and knowing Forshaw probably one leggedly throws a blanket over Traroe tomorrow.

Speak for youself rather than the 'we'. Heros for me are those folk struggling to make a living for their families to put food on the table. It's certainly not someone who gets paid 10 grand a week for kicking a ball around when he's actually fit.

I’ve met one or two real life heroes in my lifetime. None of them played football for a living.

A very sound, neat and tidy, safety first display from Adan Forshaw on Sunday, absolutely delighted for him that he played well enough after all this time out to give Bielsa (and us fans) confidence that he can be another reliable option for our squad.

Still won’t be hailed as a hero in my book though for a long time yet.

Well done Adam, I'm very pleased for him. But lots more to do to be hailed a hero. Hopefully, he stays fit and continues to perform.

Aye, can't knock his performance on sunday, helped KP get further up the field, it's a creative midfielder we lack, only my opinion like.

I really hate the over use of the word hero.
It's like when someone on strictly come dancing being labelled a hero for being the first gay pairing.

Just imagine fighting in Afghanistan and jumping on a grenade to stop your buddies from being killed. Then at home in the news it says squaddie as brave as the first gay heros couple in strictly come dancing jumps on a grenade to save his buddies..

It should really say Adam Forshaw showed good character to fight through 2 years of setbacks.

And I got laughed at when I suggested he was a viable centre midfielder for us pre season.. Top player in the championship, got injured but no reason to expect anything other than playing well in the prem....

Exceedingly well seems a bit of an exaggeration.

He has done OK relatively speaking.

Can we not build him up yet, it's happened before with Forshaw (and O'Kane) few decent games and they are wonderful Zidane clones and then they revert to meh and people realise they weren't actually that good.

When was this?

Why do injured players become World beaters the longer they are out.

Forshaw was never a top player in the Championship for anyone, he was a bit part player who never played more than 1900minutes in the league in any one season for anyone at that level and averged 13.6 starts per season, bit part by anyone's book.

(He wasn't injury ravaged either just not picked).

A decent few games for us now doesn't reinvent history ffs

I must admit i thought he was finished and made jokes to that effect. As always we me i will hold my hands up and say he has done well since coming back in. He did say himself he's not here to make up the numbers. Steady as we go with him but credit where its due. He does play in Phillips role tho. :duno:
