I think the rules state something like this....

"If Leeds United agree to sell a player for a huge fee while player is under contract to the club, and said player is not worth said fee, then Leeds United will be charged with breach of BIL* Special Rules at a later date."

This is beyond ridiculous. I was saying to my old man the other day that it'd been a while since the FL OR FA Had penalised us for something. Anyone else willing to bet against a points deduction for next season? Probably given to us at the end of the season and constituting enough points to stop us getting promoted/relegating us??
How either body can lecture a football club about corruption is beyond me!!!!

This is not a new story per se, the FA have been looking into this for a while. Seems we paid a third party, who passed the money on to Ross' agent/advisor, who was unlicenced. According to Phil Hay, it's is similar, but deemed more serious, than the Arsenal/Chambers story from a few seasons back. Distinct lack of dilligence or judgement from inside ER, but nothing new there....
