Time for positive action to be taken on here I feel.

All the mods & long term regulars should play their part & share responsibility to e.mail/pm all the lost mot members especially those who have posted 50 or more posts over the years

Am I the only one concerned how deathly it is on this forum ?

As I've said time and time again, it's perfectly normal for us to have quiet periods, so no, I'm not concerned. And even if it wasn't, it's an internet forum, is it really worth worrying about? Most people have far more pressing things to worry about in life.

I'm not posting until I get an email/pm.

In other words who cares if everybody deserts MOT for Waccoe/Facebook/Twitter or any other social media site

Cool attitude indeed :|

Leon, with the best will in the world we cannot drag people in from the streets and force them to post on MOT.

This forum belongs to its members, not to admin or mods. If nobody on here wants to engage in interesting debate it will die. If the first thread people read when browsing the forum to decide whether they should join is a major whinge about how crap the forum is, do you think they are encouraged to sign up and post?

I'm sorry to say it, but now that Jo is not around you are rapidly taking her place as the forum's pessimist.

A little unfair to throw the buck my way I feel.

Apologies Martyn if I come across pessimistic, believe me my whinge is concern for the future of the forum, I'm probably in a minority as most on here think everything is fine & dandy !

Sorry mate, but you do keep coming back and saying the same thing over and over again and it gets a bit wearisome

It is a quiet time ATM - no Leeds games to get chat going, nobody (seemingly) interested in WC Qualifiers and nothing overly controversial outside football to engage us.

Personally, I will be posting a lot more once things settle down in The Vatican. As soon as dear old Benny gives me the combination to the safe I'll be more active on MOT.
