I manage to answer 11 out of the 12 of the pop music questions relating to the artists of No.2 hits
I even got the Beautiful South & S Club 7 answers correct, both lucky guesses as i have never heard the songs
Rule The World by That That caught me out though, i knew it was a boy band & had actually heard that song

One pair of contestants went for 'Another Brick In The Wall'
The winning pair for 'The Division Bell'
More scored 1, Piper, Saucerful, Obscure scored 6 or less, Division Bell scored 8

In the absence of The Chase I have watched this the last 2 days and I am utterly amazed at the sheer stupidity of the majority of contestants. Most of this stuff I learned in school some 35-40 years ago - basic geography or history - and standard general knowledge. Or maybe it's harder when you are actually in the studio under those hot lights etc etc
