I'm thinking about blowing my budget and attending the races at Cheltenham on my trip to England next month. The pictures I've seen of the race course make it look truly spectacular. So, I need your advice, please.

Is it worth the expense to see the races there? If so, how can I ensure I have a good vantage point? Is there a ticket I can purchase that will guarantee me a spot in the upper deck without having to spend four hundred quid on a hospitality ticket?

There is a train direct from Leeds to Cheltenham that takes about three hours each way. I would be most happy to take that time, but want to be certain that the investment of time and money are worth it. Any insight you could provide would be most welcomr.

Thanks.

I have never been, but Gessa has been a regular visitor recently. He should be able to give some guidance. I do love watching it on the TV, though.
