Not exactly a transfer rumour, but here's a report that says we're in talks to bring Lucas Radebe back in as a coach. How great would that be?

a certain other forum suggesting that Tommy Spurr will sign this week...

First there was a 20 page thread saying.. "We're signing a LB, and i know who it is, and i'm not telling anyone"

And now a second thread has been started by one of the more reliable sources that simply said "The LB is Tommy Spurr"

If so.. he's young (23) and promised ALOT in his first couple of seasons.. by all accounts he's been rubbish this season, but the potential is there, SO! In Grayson we trust!!

If true, he will be the first player we'll pay a fee for... theyre suggesting around £500,000..

Must be true if it's on Waccoe, but I'll wait for EKBESE to confirm it (that's an anagram by then way)

And now theyre saying it's not Tommy Spurr... what does seem to be fact, though, is that we're signing a YOUNG Left Back..

Good news if we are signing a left back. Full backs are our weak point and who knows if Parker will ever be fully fit.

This little snippet suggests that Spurr is getting interest from Burnley and Leeds:

Spurr is Leeds born, which would fit with Simon's transfer policy so far.

Rather see Dickinson or Bertrand though.

My mate that's a Wednesday fan tells me that he actually started at our Academy too.. Wednesday didnt take him untill he was about 17..

Dunno if that's right.. but as you say... Larry definitly has a liking for players with the club at heart...
