Let's not beat around the bush here guys, VAR would cost us a few points too if implemented, if only for the fact that even with VAR the powers that be are still capable of making wrong decisions. WB had luck on their side last night but if the shoe was on the other foot we'd be no more ready to hand the points back than they are. Between them Bamford and Alioski alone have enough shenanigans to keep the officials glued to their monitors for the next decade so let's not pretend all our players are saints.

Yes, it was a poor call from the ref and yes, the result didn't favour us but let's keep some honest perspective. That door may well swing our way later in the season.

Thanks for that mate. Really enjoyed reading those comments from other clubs' fans and most of them heaping praise on how well we played.

Blimey nearly 30 pages on the Citeh discussing our cup game.

Citeh fans thoughts

Amazed how well Leeds played
Impressed with Harrison, some want him back at the Etihad.
Admiration for Meslier
Leeds would have won with a decent striker
Leeds will be a force in the premiership especially if they taken over by new owners.
Bielsa to takeover at Citeh if Pep goes.
Xhaka should have received four yellows.
The ref Anthony Taylor was awful.
Taylor is corrupt.
Danny Murphy received much stick.
Arsenal were crap in both halves.
Gooners won by a scuff shot.

Norwich forum is a rather weird place but this quote is my favourite.

"Leeds now try and play the way we did. On Motd they say we are naive and stupid but if its Leeds its a different story"

Norwich did play good football but to say that we are trying to copy them is quite funny

We werent clinical and they were, Pukki didnt carry that team but take Pukki out and replace him with Paddy or Roofe and Norwich would have been midtable.

Norwich - a counter attacking side that soaks up pressure then hits teams on the break

Leeds - a high pressing team that puts teams under pressure.

Not even remotely similar in style.
I love leeds united, may I never admit to it. :shhh:

How Arsenal didn't have 2 sent off is beyond me. The game is a farce at times. I would love to hear Taylor's reasons (4 of them) for not booking and consequently sending off Zhaka or whatever his name is.

This post made me smile from the Chelsea site

Majority of fans watch their clubs like they do at county cricket matches, we have some of our own who sit there emotionless

Watched the match yesterday on a stream with Millwall fans commentating. Was very impressed with them, very fair and seemed clued up on who our players were etc. Even when we were 2-0 down they weren't being d*cks or expecting every decision to go to Millwall etc like you get with some fans.

Good to hear.

Watched a couple of Millwall streams before and the commentary was embarrassing.

"I hated every second of the second half because I hate to admit it they tore us apart. They were racing around at pace and we looked jaded and that got just worse as the game went on, they bombarded our box and it was inevitable they'd get another. When they did there was still hope ( sort of ) but within what seemed about 20 seconds we were f**king losing, the deflation of our fans was on a par with the extent of our elation after Jeds pen"

"On the night we were beaten by a better passing, fitter & hungry side , we played well for the first 6/8 minutes and the last 4 but in between we were battered"

"My mate texted me during the break and said that it was going to be like the Alamo, and so it proved. They absolutely tore into us and their movement, energy, intensity and passing left us all with our tongues hanging out. There really was no answer as they were unstoppable. Despite resting several players in the cup game we looked absolutely cream crackered with ten to go"

"I thought he was excellent, Leeds simply outclassed us on the day"

"Sorry hate the f**kers but last night they well & truly battered us for 80 odd minutes out of 90"

"I hate to say it, but they are a very good team. We can't handle them"

"If Leeds could finish their chances they'd be about 7-2 up and be about 20 points clear"

This was on Lions TV and it was a very good honest account and praised Bamford for the unseen work he does.

That was a good listen Rich.
Two Millwall fans giving an honest account of the game as they saw it.
One of them said we are the best side he has ever seen in the Championship. High praise indeed.

Love it Rich

Lovely to hear those comments from Wall fans. I know some clubs fans wouldn't be so complimentary.

They recognised how hard Bamford works & played a big part in our play

"Best championship side they've ever seen" :-D
