Re: Our total end of season points prediction

In my opinion all our away fixtures are tough and then we have Hull & Southampton at home as well. Add in the inevitable slip up in a couple of games we should win and it's easy to see how it might go as I've predicted. Pressure does weird things to people remember. So we finished on 90 points ...

Re: Our total end of season points prediction

93 points is now the maximum.

Not looking good but at least we'll finish above Southampton and who know we might even still finish 2nd.

Re: Premier League a cautionary tale

Nice read.

However moving swiftly on...regardless of of the division we're in which of Sheff United's players should we sign in the summer ?

Re: Our total end of season points prediction

Anyone predicting 97 points or more sadly got this one wrong.

That's 23 of you by the way.

Re: Striker selection poll

Bamford 100%.

There is a reason we had that amazing run from 1st january so just stick with the players who made it happen.

Tinkering does not help as some seem to think it does.

Re: Middlesbrough pre match chat

Fair point. But OK it's extremely rare, 1 season maybe. Besides Swansea fans and reporters have told us he wasn't a midfielder often enough. He played through the middle, as a second striker, left of a front 3 occasionally But not midfield Bottom line is we should move Piroe on in the summer as he ...

Re: Leeds United Song - Or Is It?

Replace Sally Sunshine with Daniel Farke on the German version and we might have something ?

Re: Blackburn Rovers Post Match Discussion

Maybe we should have played the game behind closed doors ?

Two home games and only one point against pretty average sides shows we can't handle the pressure of the run in.

We probably owe a few quid in royalties then seems as the music has been played at ER every home game for decades.

Nice tune though and everyone needs a Sally Sunshine in their lives.

Re: Coventry City post match discussion

After watching a poor stream yesterday, I watched a full replay tonight. Glad I did as I have increased & decreased some of my scores. Hopefully you’ll have seen that the overall performance wasn’t as bad as some have made out and on another day we’d have won the game. Defeat still hurts of course b ...

Quite astonishing how many people wish to rip up the Kamara and Gruev partnership that has served us so well.

Four wins and draw to get to 99 points so surely all of us would take that if offered ?

Enjoy the match and don't be too shocked if you come away with something as the Leeds crowd can get quite nervy on occasions like these.

Re: Sunderland pre match chat

I think DF may play Piroe in place of Paddy on Tuesday, relying on Mateo for impact off the bench if required. Good call as Piroe started in our 4-0 win at Swansea when we flew out of the traps and also the the win at Plymouth which followed. Bamford has done nothing wrong though with important ...

Re: Travel from stadium to City Centre

It’s carnage, traffic wise, after the game for a good hour or so. I park at the top of the hill on Town Street, and pass several taxis as I’m walking up to my car trying to come down the hill trying to negotiate the traffic. As others have said, jump on the bus mate. Dead easy. Unless leaving early ...

Re: Travel from stadium to City Centre

How long after the game do taxis start picking up? Assume taxis avoid the area after the game due to congestion and traffic management The taxi rank is roughly opposite McDonalds and there will be taxis waiting for the match to finish. There are no restrictions for taxis to access the rank so they ...
