Re: Getting the best out of "Captain Invisible"

no I think Snoddy would prosper in this role rather than being totally isolated out wide. He has the option to link up with the front two and as a few people have been saying his crosses arent exactly producing much.

ok didnt notice Lees as RB, maybe prefer Connolly there and Lees cb

Re: Getting the best out of "Captain Invisible"

i asked this question the other day and only got 1 reply... slack b@stards, you lot are! I would almost instantly go back to last years formation, because it did work pretty well, but with Clayton involved this time around it would no doubt work even better! BUT!!! the only problem there is w...

Re: Our former No.8 the midfield dynamo !

But looking at todays team, it is still important to keep possession. Theres no way we can play like the Revie team and it appears we now struggle to keep possession.

Getting the best out of "Captain Invisible"

Most posters on here rate Jonny Howson but he has in most peoples opinion not performed to his potential this season. I was watching him in the shooting warm up the other week and he is such a clinical finisher compared to the other players. So why do we all keep asking the same question, Why can't ...

Re: Our former No.8 the midfield dynamo !

How the hell do you know he was MOTM? We know you werent there and there was about 45seconds of highlights tonight.. Just because the commentators on the radio said his name a lot, which they would have because he used to play for us, does not mean he played well. He would have no doubt touched the...

Re: The Manchunian clubs....

I've always thought that the money scum spent was money that they earnt, through gate receipts, TV money and the like. I mean, they are a brand name after all so they must have been fairly minted before those Glaciers took over. If you remember, Man City were on the brink of "doing a Leeds", much l...

No! Who are Larry's favourites and how the heck do you know. He has dropped just about everyone from memory over time. We never play the same team twice on the trot. He does have a favourite formation - one supported by most on here who love a good 442 - I wish he'd give that a wide berth  Ye...

Re: Fu@k of snodgrass!

Thing is he had little support and had to create space to cross himself most of the time. Tom Lees you can't blame for concentrating on his defending. Lets not get on Snoddys back. Look at the other options in his position, well there are none. He was bothered yesterday but showed frustration with t...

What about season ticket holders who don't agree with you, don't we talk sense then? I've noticed you've taken to using first names with young shields [moderator, IT expert and season ticket holder]. Beginning to look a bit fishy. By the way, I'm a Bromby fan but he lacks a bit of agression for me ...

I think he'd be suited to a run in the side. Think some players need more time on the pitch.

He is definitely not an impact sub.

He has shown he can play well as part of a good attacking side.
