I always said I would never have an 'influenza' shot and I've had covid-19, almost asymptomatically, so I object to mandatory vaccinations.
'Fauci'-ists should keep their counsel. Nothing is really proven and the existing vaccines have caused unforeseen problems amongst a lot of people.

I'm fairly sure I had my first curry in Wakefield Swan but I can't remember exactly which joint I was in (or smoking).

Could of
www.lexico.com/grammar/could-of-or-could-have "could of", because it sounds like it, is really "could've" ("could have" contraction) Just saying - I doubt English grammar has been taught properly in decades and it's not my place to criticise anyone, but I thought I'd p...

Re: Guess the crowd vs WAT Sat 2/10/21
Sorry about the delay on this but I had to take a trip this last Sunday/Monday to see my doctor - nothing earth-shattering but we've just got back in our apartment a few hours ago so I'm trying to catch up a bit.
Congratulations TatleyK on the best guess - not often we get a variance well under 100.

Re: Guess the crowd vs WAT Sat 2/10/21
Folks, I've been away since Thursday and it's now 02:15 Sunday - please forgive me but I'll get the results out
asap, but I'm off on another trip later on today.
I'm pretty sure TatleyK won but will confirm on our next return home.

Re: Stadium expansion
The biggest ever crowd at ER was 57,892 against Sunderland 15/3/67 for an FA Cup 5th round replay but, since then, the crowd has quite rarely exceeded 40,000. Stadium changes allowed an increase over the old capacity despite having to put in seats but I honestly don't know whether further expansion ...

Quite true Leon, never heard from again.
Looking back I suppose there were a lot of 'one-hit wonders'.
Scott McKenzie: "San Francisco"
Actually Barry McGuire himself with "Eve..."
Peter Sarstedt: "Where do you go to my lovely"
- and so on.
