Mmmm interesting! Despite previous proclamations, will Warnock be tempted by any of his old boys? :duno:

Re: BATES FM

We have the highest ambition possible - to stay solvent. Some simply want to win games and to hell with the legacy. We are in safe hands. Can't argue with that sentiment, WR, but is it unreasonable to want to remain solvent, protect the club's history/legacy AND win games of football too? :duno:

Re: BATES FM

The silver lining  OK WR, you get what you seem to want, and Warnock walks away. What then? A N Other comes in, bestowed with magical powers, and transforms our team/squad of distinctly average also-rans into genuine challengers?! Whether you're pro-Bates, anti-Bates, pro-Warnock, anti-Warnock...

Not Radiohead's biggest fan, neither do I think they're pants. However, this is the first track I ever learnt to play on guitar, so they get a  for this and for being brave enough to allow fans to choose what they paid for an album (Napster-killers Metallica, take note)

Top man Twiggs. For me, 'Nothing's Shocking' and 'Ritual de lo Habitual' are essential albums in any music lover's collection. Lucky enough to see them in Glasgow back in 03 on the 'Strays' tour, not the classic line-up but still awesome

Re: Will we obtain any fees for the players....

Our average group of players is as much a result of Bates 'disassembling' of the squad than it was of Simon's ability to put one together.... [did that make sense?] add Gradel, Howson, & Bradley Johnson to this season's team and things would have been very different.... cant blame Simon for let...

Hope so, let's get the cash in and buy some knew players. Admire the optimism, Baker boy, but I don't think we'll get enough for most of the dross to finance team re-building. As others have posted, only Clayton will command a reasonable sum and even that will buy us no more than one new player. Ba...

Warnock on record as saying he'll will not be looking to bring in any of his old players. Things can change, of course, but I'm hoping he's looking at players with more than a few years left in them, perhaps with a sprinkling of older heads

Never been all that for Argentina , which in my book puts him behind some of the names Twiggs mentioned . At least for now that is ! Part of the problem with Messi for the argies is that, generally, he's asked to play in a much more disciplined role which, for me, negates some of his attacking impa...
