Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Monday 26th October) Leeds reach top five

I saw enough of Fulham & West Brom in the championship last season to suggest their tenure in the PL would be short-lived, we were a million miles ahead of the rest & in the final table that was proven with a ten point gap between the baggies & us, 12 points ahead of Fulham & Brentford, 20 points c...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Monday 26th October) Leeds reach top five

Its particularly good how well we started when we look at fulham and west brom, am I the only one who wants them to lose every week? I have nothing against them just want to keep the points cushion growing cant see either getting near 40 points which makes our survival job easier - not that I think ...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Monday 26th October) Leeds reach top five

No one can say leeds are not a breath of fresh air to this league I've watched most games this weekend and the majority especially man United vs chelsea have been painfully boring if that's a taster of a euro super league your welcome to it - football should be a game where you play to win not play ...

Re: Aston Villa v Leeds Utd Match Thread - Struijk starts in defensive midfield

Absolutely class performance tonight, was worried after first half it was going to be a repeat of wolves but we just went up a gear and villa couldn't get near.

A side note, Is it acceptable to drag an injured player off the floor by his shirt? Bamford wasnt even appealing for anything.

It's not good at all especially as struijk the man I would trust to do a job in kalvins place might be injured aswell. Cooper and llorente likely out for weeks too.

Re: Agbonlahor.

They asked him a question on talksport following villa beating lpool " have villa taken inspiration from leeds?" To which he replied "no if anything leeds have taken inspiration from villa"

Now they may or may not have taken inspiration from us but the opposite makes no sense whatsoever.

Negative - Having to get used to losing games again
positive - I no longer have a meltdown when we lose

Re: Leeds United v Wolves - MATCH THREAD - Cooper pulls up during warm up!

I think that's the way to go - maybe drop Harrison as well. I think it's time to realise that Bamford and Harrison are probably never going to be quite the players that people hope they will be. They've both had enough chances to prove that over the last 2 seasons. Trouble is now and again they bot...

Re: Benrahma Fails West Ham Medical

Maybe west ham medical team learned their lesson from Wiltshire and Carroll, if they still sign him it seems the top brass havnt learned a thing. Is odd though as he isn't an injury prone player.

Re: Barry Douglas

Always been a bit disappointed with this signing, never really did much for us but it Just shows that some players can have as much of an impact off the pitch as on it, not sure that justifies the wages and the fee but fair play to Barry, he contributed to the promotion and will always be grateful f...

Re: Positives & Negatives v Man City (one of each please)

Positive - it looks as though we have bought one hell of a player with Moreno. Negative - Alioski isn't going to be good enough at this level. Yeah it saddens me that, he is such a good lad and I bet the rest of the squad love having him around. I still think he has his uses as a sub though and he ...

Re: Leeds Utd v Man City - MATCH THREAD

You look at poveda tonight and you have to ask whether or not we need to spend 25 million on daniel james. Would still like another centre mid though as it only takes an injury to klich to leave us in quite the pickle.

Re: Rodrigo Moreno

Terrific 2nd half from Rodrigo weasel. Power ,skill and can be a goal getter too. Listen to Graham Hunter onLUTV about him last week .Said hes a nice man and dosent have a silly inflated ego . Its credit to the recruiters that we are taking account of personality and how players will fit in to the ...

Re: Michaël Cuisance - DONE OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very disappointing, you can never trust a leeds transfer until that official announcement is made, not saying it's the clubs fault but there's always a wrinkle somewhere. I had read some concerning things about his attitude so maybe he wouldn't have fitted in. I wonder how far down orta's wish list ...

Re: Sheffield Utd v Leeds Utd Match Thread

No Hernandez no problem we are a team on the up, signing internationals whilst they sign mediocre championship players probably in preparation for their impending relegation. In all seriousness they are the kind of team that could cause us problems, overloads and balls in to the box for target men, ...

Re: The "Summer" Transfer Window 20/21 season

Not sure it's fair to call Radz a "penny pincher." He's not as wealthy as many premier league owners. Kinnear said last year he was requesting a check every month for 1.5 million to cover the short fall. I think we should give huge credit for the money Radz continues to put into the club. What he's...

Re: The "Summer" Transfer Window 20/21 season

I've said it since we signed koch that there will be no further incoming transfers. I like radz and co dont get me wrong but he is a penny pincher and our start to the season will have him thinking he can get away with it on the cheap - worrying that given bielsa's obsession with bamford rodrigo is ...

Re: Leeds United v Fulham FC - MATCH THREAD - Cooper & Rodrigo in for Struijk & Hernandez

I might be repeating myself here but shows the annoyance I have with journalists and pundits bringing up this leeds have always had defensive problems under bielsa myth and that the aim is just to outscore the opp and not worry about defence , danny mills at it now. Bielsa will be as concerned as an...

Re: Leeds United v Fulham FC - MATCH THREAD - Cooper & Rodrigo in for Struijk & Hernandez

I couldn't watch the game but listened to it, which is torture especially as I dont find the commentary to be particularly good at describing the action. What was going on defensively? Did we relax a little at 4 -1 up? Most on here seem to say koch and cooper played well so were we just caught out?

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wedensday 16th September) - Should Radrizzani splash the cash on De Paul & Gvardiol?

we should be after Buendia he was in the top 10 for assists last season playing for a very poor team and he has the advantage of knowing the league . we definitely need top quality reinforcements just cant really see it happening Bielsa likes a small squad and cant see any of the first team squad le...
