Yes, it really is, not a weak song on it, and a nice balance of his country and rock influences.

It's the only one of his I've got, and I'd like to try some others - any recommendations in a similar vein?

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tuesday 15th September) Bielsa factor having big impact on fan fase

De Paul - if he's as good as people seem to say then I think we should. I don't understand the argument that he would be a signing which exceeds our ambition. My only quibble was whether he really wanted to come, but it seems that he does. Good lad! Bielsa factor - apart from everything he's done fo...

Re: Playlist over the last week......

Been working my way through the 2008 list. Pleasantly surprised by the Gnarls Barkley, so ordered both their CDs.

Also been playing John Martyn, Mark Hollis and Monteverdi.

Play the first team, barring niggles and injuries. It's a good opportunity to sharpen up and build confidence.

Also thought the game was played in a good spirit. Nice not to see the time wasting and feigned injuries we've been used to witnessing in the championship.

Re: Positives & Negatives (one of each please)

+ Fearless play against the best from our so-called "championship mid-table" team. Swashbuckling confidence at times. - Not sure Bielsa had it quite right defensively. Gave away possession too easily sometimes, and allowed them into our box in numbers. Easy to blame the makeshift defence, but we def...

So proud of the team tonight. Fearless, and relentless despite the opposition and the lack of preparation.

I've come to expect us to win every game under Bielsa, and that hasn't changed with promotion.

Re: Bielsa Contract ** now signed**

That mural is wonderful. Hopefully fans have learned enough over the last two seasons to persevere through the setbacks. I really don't accept the notion that Bielsa is somehow too naive not to know exactly what the premier league is about, or that he is afraid of players with egos. He will be appro...

Re: Bielsa Contract ** now signed**

2 years would have been a statement, but accept that's not how Marcelo works. We have yet to see how he will approach the prem, so too early to judge him at this level. Based on what we know of him, I expect him to give it his all and take us comfortably to the next level. Very important season, for...

Re: What are you doing today ?

I miss the English coast in all its guises. I once read a book entitled "500-mile Walkies", about a guy who borrowed a friend's dog and went the whole way around the Cornish coast, from N.Devon to S.Devon. I was in Newquay for the week when I found the book and it fired my imagination. Here in rura...

Trying out the new tent in Dorset. Walked to Corfe for a meal in the Fox Inn, then a walk along the coast towards the sunset, and back watching the stars come out.

Re: Album of 2008 - NOMINATE NOW

Played it a couple of times today, a few tracks were instant, a few more grew second time around, think there maybe a couple i will never be in to but did it enjoy it on the whole. Glad you found something to enjoy. I find my 'favourite' tracks change over time, but I still enjoy the album as a who...
