Re: Leeds United v Fulham - 4-3 MOTM

Costa- Two beautiful finishes, where was this composure last season. He has looked every inch a Premier League player in his 2 games. Bamford- Same as Costa, played really well, held the ball up, linked play and a really composed finish. Klich- A beautiful player, wouldn't swap him for any other box...

Re: Leeds United v Fulham FC - MATCH THREAD - Cooper & Rodrigo in for Struijk & Hernandez

Feel sorry for Koch, thought he played well, best of the back 4 imo. Our left hand side was poor today and imo Meslier should have done better for all of the goals. Costa looks every inch a Premier league player and Paddy to based on today, both of them were superb. Klich was good to but imo we were...

Re: Leeds United v Fulham FC - MATCH THREAD - Cooper & Rodrigo in for Struijk & Hernandez

Thank god for that. Pleased to get the win. Costa and Paddy were great. But far to open, the need for a proper 10 was clear, needed someone to control the game as it wore on. Left back to and a goalie imo, Meslier should have done better on all 3 goals. Fulham had more shots than us you wont survive...

Re: Leeds United v Fulham FC - MATCH THREAD - Cooper & Rodrigo in for Struijk & Hernandez

Think Koch is just desperate to impress and wants to be 1st to everything.

Shame because he has made 2 really important defensive contributions.

Hector header and when Mitrovic was about to shoot.

Rodders will score, i have a feeling

Re: Foden & Greenwood

"Manchester United asked for Mason Greenwood to be rested and not called up by England for Nations League duty, says manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer." Isnt that the weakest cop out to this whole thing? Shows Ole as a really weak manager. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/54204232 Mason didn't seem to...

Nah mate, a 17 year old winger whose just signed a professional contract with Burton will do for me :)

Having your own youth players coming through is great but only when they are ready.

Majority of ours (almost all) arent.

Re: Premiership 2020/21

Liverpool have finally confirmed the signing of Thiago. Liverpool also interested in Wolves attacker Diogo Jota. Wolves are close to signing 18 year old Liverpool youth cb Ki-Jana Hoever for around £10mil. The 18 year old has barely kicked a ball at senior level. Spurs are close to announcing the £3...

Re: The "Summer" Transfer Window 20/21 season

1306951011903385600 Not much progress being made seemingly. Narrative for weeks has been De Paul only if we pay the asking price and Gvardiol isnt keen. Personally having done some reading i think if we are expecting Udinese to go "ok you win we will knock £10mil off the asking price", then we will...

Re: Premiership 2020/21

I think this time (heh yeah I know) it is different. I think i put this on another thread but the owners/purslow hired away the head of youth academy from West Brom about a year ago and have massively invested in restructuring the academy and youth recruitment — we signed a 17 y/o striker, Louie Ba...

Re: Rodrigo de Paul - RUMOUR

I still say that 30/32 is is more reasonable for RDH, but honestly I could live with 36 (not my money  )...as for Grealish 50/80 sorry mate, that is ludicrously over rated. I think compared to the domestic market £36mil is very reasonable. Villa just spent £28mil on a 2nd division striker. Che...

Re: Rodrigo de Paul - RUMOUR

Personally i dont think Udinese are being unreasonable in asking for £36mil. I think we are trying to get him on the cheap whereas £36mil for what he is is a fair price. From reading about De Paul the closest comparison i can think of is Jack Grealish. To give Grealish credit i doubted him in the EP...

Re: Rodrigo de Paul - RUMOUR

Gehardt, Greenwood, and Sumervlle is about 3 million. How much do you think we're getting for Douglas, Forshaw (zero), and Roberts? Its still £3mil closer to the £30mil i think we need for De Paul. About £3.50 Forshaw isnt worth anything given he cant get fit. Douglas, id take the £3mil we paid for...

Re: Rodrigo de Paul - RUMOUR

I still do not get why Radz is being so hardball on the price for RDP... given what he has splashed out on unproven yet potentially future prospects?... when we need RDP now! I think we should always try to get the best deal but i do think the reported £23mil offer is taking the mickey. We should i...

Re: Premiership 2020/21

Happy about the Martinez deal though it is a pretty expensive one for someone who is not the most experienced at the PL level. Intrigued by the Traore deal and very very very hopeful/excited about the interest in Rashica. Also have a tedious link that we are going to be after Barkley as well . Do y...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thursday 17th September) - Wilks rips Leeds apart & Phil Hay gives full transfer update

Wilks I liked Wilks tbh from what id seen of him during his loan spells away, id have kept him. He bullied our cbs last night really was man vs boys. De Paul/ Gvardiol De Paul wants to come, we need him, get it done. Gvardiol we need him to on last nights evidence, we are still one cb or one dm shor...

Re: Rodrigo Moreno - DEAL DONE

Seen quite a bit of criticism of Rodders for last night. While he wasnt great he did ok imo, worked really hard, closed down a lot. Some glimpses of class, a no look volley pass across the pitch for example. Hard to see what more he could do given the total lack of creativity behind him? At one poin...

Re: Ian (Diego) Poveda

Try to end on a positive note so. Well done Ian. You tried to do something, took people on to try and create something, tried to play forward rather than back. Didnt always get the pass right but at least Ian was positive. Earned his place in our matchday 18 which is more than you can say for anyone...
