Re: Bailey Peacock-Farrell

With the sweeper style keeper that Bielsa wants there aren't that many top class ones around which is why Liverpool and City spent huge amounts on Edersen and Allison. So what you have to consider with Kiko is that whilst he may not be great in some areas and as such maybe that cost us 5 goals last ...

Re: Leeds v Pacos de Ferreira

I think he is a very good keeper . Makes a mistake now and again but best on the books at the club . Meslier needs more experience , isn't up to Kiki standards in all areas and it would probably cost a lot to bring in better , money which is probably required to strengthen other areas which are far...

Re: Today's Games

KP would have been better staying in Leeds and training and playing the friendly than watching a clueless manager drag a group of individual players down to his level.

Re: Today's Games

Same as with the England women's squad the manager adds nothing to a talented group of individuals. Could you imagine what Bielsa could get out of the talent England have.

Re: Leeds v Pacos de Ferreira

No idea why Bielsa keeps trying to turn him into a CB. We need a good LB coming through. It's what Bielsa does. Even if he isn't thinking about moving a player there he likes the player to understand other player's roles so that they are able to adpat better to cover if for example the centreback g...

Re: Coronavirus - Lockdown in Leeds precariously close

All a case of using stats to suit that particular agenda. Take recently and Oldham put back into lockdown (not that anybody took a blind bit of notice or adhered to it). All the media reported was how many new cases there were not the fact that there wasn't an increase in hospital admissions or deat...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Fri 4th September) Leeds target Watkins after Brewster snub

A year developing under Bielsa will probably still see them learn more than they would in the rest of their careers. You just have to see how highly White speaks about what he learnt and how Phillips has described England's training as possession based drills (so likely just a small pitch 6v6 or 7v7...

Given that Moreno is 29 I would guess it would be him as he would likely have been born in 91.

Re: How Crazy Is It Having......

Absolutely crazy. Firstly they are just glorified friendlies - who gives a sh*t about the Nations League? Secondly it is ridiculous given the covid situation where you are just mixing players from several different clubs together all at once. 1 player having it could easily spread it to 20 or 30 clu...

Re: The "Summer" Transfer Window 20/21 season

When seeing all these 'rumours' it is worth noting how little effort or research a lot of these so called journalists put into these made up stories. Read an article from Football League World in which it suggested we were interested in Brentford fullback Rico Henry. https://footballleagueworld.co.u...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wednesday 2nd October) - Leeds could end up spending over £100m this transfer window

I would say none of the youngsters that played yesterday would be out of their depth in the first team but only if 1 was in at a time and the rest of the side was strong with the players in their right positions etc. Too many yesterday especially in defence where correct me if I am wrong but we had ...

Re: Andy Murray sublime athlete

I hate to say it but Murray is the shadow of the player he used to be. Don't get me wrong, Murray's come back last night was great, but he shouldn't have gone two sets down to a relative newbie on the ATP that has just broken into the top 50; saying that its always a bit more difficult to play agai...

Just saying.
York considerably worse than Stoke and our line up today likely considerably worse than the line up last year.

This result has about as much impact as a fart in a jacuzzi.

Re: Rodrigo de Paul - RUMOUR

At times last season when we had 1 or 2 injuries the bench looked very bare. With the players coming in all having versatility it covers a lot of position for injuries, suspensions or loss of form. If you look at last season we probably got lucky with a lack of injuries to players in positions where...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Monday 31st August) - Should we be concerned by Leeds spending?

Different times. When you look back to us spending £18m onFerdinand I think it was a world record for a defender at the time - contrast to now and the world record for a defender is £80m Maguire. So if you look at that then spending £13m on Kock is 1/6th of the world record so to compare it would ha...

No idea where this cash is coming from, did the 49ers cough up? Did Radz cough up? Did the external source Kinnear spoke about cough up? Who knows. I wouldn't get too worried about the cash. Unlike when we got relegated last time and had been fighting fires before we got relegated this time around ...

Not sure why more clubs didn't fancy Koch at that price? Like YS said we have been sending him videos and been in constant communication with him for the last 6 months. Great work by everyone involved and likely he had been convinced to join us a few months back so it didn't matter if other clubs c...

One thing we will have to get used to is not having the majority of possession against the better teams particularly Man City. I think playing Liverpool first is not a bad thing. They're unlikely to be firing on all cylinders having had such a short break and you never know, we may just surprise th...
