Re: General Chat

Sorry to hear about your daughter, and your other difficulties, Kenny. As your shrink said, it sounds like a complexity of issues. No one is better placed to understand it and make sense of it than you, though. Having the intent to seek self-knowledge seems to me the one essential thing. I was luck...

Re: General Chat

Yup from an early age, due to bereavement and undiagnosed ASD, amongst other things. . I've directed most of my life efforts to trying to work it out; training in psychoanalysis, studying philosophy, practising various forms of spirituality. It's all helped in various ways. Finding out I'm autistic...

Re: General Chat

I had a complete breakdown in my 40's, was diagnosed as PTSD, was on antidepressants for years... I refer to them as my wibble years now.... PTSD from what ? I've come close thinking back, but never actually had a complete nervous breakdown, that is unless i've actually managed it and got through i...

Re: General Chat

Lots of people get depressed about sport. It’s perfectly normal. If LSD helps then I’m all for it. Depressed in what way and for how long, minutes, days, weeks or months ? Leeds get beat on a Saturday and i'm pissed off for an hour or two. Since the age of 7 when my father was killed at work and my...

Re: General Chat

If it helps with PTSD & depression then dish some out for Sunday. Hopefully not needed I actually suffer from depression and it's comments like this above that don't help and seemingly make it so trivial to you. Have you ever actually suffered from depression and thought of taking your own life ?

Psilocybin is the psychedelic compound in magic mushrooms that causes the "trip". There's an excellent 4 part series on Netflix called "How to Change Your Mind" that looks at the use of various psychedelic drugs in psychotherapy and also palliative care. Worth a squint if you're...

Re: What is the point in persevering with Victor Orta?

Feel I need to sprinkle a little Orta appreciation on all this negativity Knock every transfer that didn't work out. They're small costs compared to the gains we've made Financially look at: Raphinha, Harrison, Meslier, Strujik, Gelhardt, Perkins, Summerville, Gnonto ... and many more For every Jay...

Re: The Leeds United starting 11 and bench polls - Right Back

I feel we need to make a change in the CB position, but it would be crazy too many changes at the back vs Villa, Kristensen gives us height at set-pieces. Ayling did well for twenty minutes at Brentford, however it's much easier to look impressive when coming on as a sub against tired legs. I think...

Re: Post ya England team and formation for the WC first game.

Thats the formation England have been playing. So it makes total sense to play TAA in that formation with slighltly less defensive responsibility. He played Saka at LWB against Italy. And I'm sure that wasn't because he thought Saka was better defensively than Shaw or Chilwell. \ Don't forget, i'm ...

Re: The Leeds United starting 11 polls - Left Centre Back

Very much a toss up for me between LC and PS If Bert was manager i'd 100% be going for LC. Seeing as it's Marsch i've edged towards Pascal and voted for him, but it's like 51% v 49% for LC. But i'd really be going for the man in form at the time and playing that man until he looked like he was off h...
