Re: Covid Wars

Remember the media sensationalism about Long Covid. Symptoms very similar to that of a cold or a hangover or just the feeling of being worn down. Interesting article from BON from Spiked online about it. https://www.spiked-online.com/2021/09/17/is-long-covid-a-myth/ Again the media should be ashamed...

Re: Covid Wars

I find it rather contemptuous that stories like this seem to rejoice and gloat over the death of another person, and they should also be used as a justification in the defence of vaccination. The division is well and truly sawn into the covid fabric now. Vaccinated hating on Unvaccinated, Old derid...

Re: Newcastle Utd V Leeds Utd Match Thread - James & Klich in for Harrison and Llorente

We were poor imo, but thankfully Newcastle were worse bar Maxim geezer. We made him look like a Ronaldo in his pomp. We are still woefully short in so many areas its hard to see a way out at the minute. I said it in the PR god help us if Kalvin gets injured, he his the only thing holding it all toge...

+ Newcastle were worse than us.

- They only needed one player to hurt us and we still couldn't stop him.

Re: Player rankings v Newcastle

Meslier 7: Kept it 1-1 with at least 2 good saves. Dallas 3: Looks woefully short in so many ways at the moment. He's not the only one. Ayling 5: Some ok stuff in possession but mostly poor from Bill at the minute. A mistake waiting to happen and it nearly did with the header at the end. Cooper 5: I...

Re: Newcastle Utd V Leeds Utd Match Day Thread

Is tonight the night we finally see Jimmy? I think so. You have to say on paper that looks a second rate bench of youngsters. Come on the kids step up to that mark.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thursday 16th September) Leeds keen to extend Phillips contract amid City interest

I was wrong about KP not excepting a new deal why wouldn't he want more money? What he won't do is fall into the Kane Trap and sign on the dotted line without a release clause of £80m. AR will take into consideration he cost nothing.

Re: Newcastle Utd V Leeds Utd Match Day Thread

Right now we are the defensive equivalent of a heavily punctured dinghy 10 miles from shore. Geordie Shore? Lets hope the front players have got their golden boots on and.... we're gonna score one more than you...Any good Curry houses. This is what Football is all about. The anticipation, the possib...

Re: Firpo

Boy. Boy . You want more Boy. ;-) He's only played a couple of games? Rodrigo is into his second season what have you got to say about him? And when Rodrigo had Covid some people gave him a 6 months pass due to the overstated possibility of Long Covid. Firpo is back playing within a few weeks. In sa...

What was the first male person in the UK called who was vaccinated? Oh yeah. To be or not to be... That is no longer a question. Bev Turner having her say.

I can recommend this now having watch it. Decent insight by some very experienced Dr & Professors. The first 2 professionals who talk get a little bit techy but after that its easy to follow. I will say it again.. We do not live in North Korea, so why is Open transparent scientific information being...

He seems like a reasonable fair Doctor who is willing to talk about the Elephant in the room. Natural Immunity. Sounds like he's another one who "despite the evidence" as had a tough time when giving his medical opinion. And they wonder why some people are hesitant. LpAPjBpcP8c Sounds like this docu...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thursday 16th September) Leeds keen to extend Phillips contract amid City interest

Leeds keen to extend Phillips contract amid City interest: Can't believe the club would put Kalvin in a position like that. What if he says no? I am looking at it realistically at 25 he will want to move on pretty soon to further his career. Who could resist Citeh and the guaranteed trophies that co...

Re: Newcastle Utd V Leeds Utd Match Day Thread

I just hope Newcastle are worse than we are right now, i genuinely struggle to see us keeping a clean sheet at the minute with another makeshift defence. I thought we were going to be comfortable this season at CB and here we are again with only Coops available out of the 4. Will it be Shack in at R...

Re: Leeds Utd V Liverpool Match Thread - Post match from RADZ on SKY Premier

We look so bad against the best sides. For the life of me today i couldn't give you a Leeds tactical explanation. We have seen it so many times, if a team presses high and cuts of the space in midfield we haven't got a scooby doo what to do (not intended) when Meslier rolls the ball out to a defende...
