Re: Gigs (not that one!)

Looking forward to seeing the Pixies in Halifax. The last time I saw them was as at Reading, 1990.

Re: HELP NEEDED--Cat in a tree--ideas?

Our neighbors work with the local, county SPCA. About a year ago she adopted two feral cats. They let them out during the day and keep them in at night (we have coyotes here in the mountains). When they went to get the cats in last night they couldn't find one. The lots where we live are heavily wo...

Re: Leeds Vs Millwall Post match discussion

Just had a Quick Look at the Millwall forum. It appears to be mandatory to use the C word in your post to A. describe the ref B. Describe the opposition players or C. The opposition fans. Makes me laugh they describe Leeds as a Khazi - I know Bermondsey very well - in the land of SH’s that place is...

He'll need hooking maybe at half time. It's far too risky for him to be on a yellow this early on.

Re: Leeds Utd v Millwall Match Thread

They've dragged us to their level, game plan in play. We just need some composure and wise heads out there, and it'll come.

I remember going to Karnak Temple, an amazing place to see. I will be located around 20km's from Cairo, so not as nice as Luxor!

Re: Millwall pre match chat

Definitely concerned about Millwall's recent resurgence and having watched their win at Southampton I'd say with some justification. The other worry is we don't seem to have played that well during our last two matches but yet we've kept on winning, something which will surely change unless we can ...

Re: Retirement

Be very careful and make sure you get a work permit.. I moved to Egypt a few years ago, I was cleaning the carpets on Nile Cruise ships..... One day my machine was confiscated, and I was escorted home to pack and then to the airport... All at gunpoint.. I didn't have a work permit, as I was told we...

Re: Retirement

I intend to work for as long as I can. I enjoy what I do and it's not physically exerting. I've lived a pretty full live thus far moving around a fair bit. My new venture will soon entail moving to Egypt for a while.

Here's hoping and they also finish third. I can't stand them and their wanky fans.
