Re: Is it time to stop taking the knee...?

Here we go, I'm nearing 50, dual heritage, born in Yorkshire and raised in the East End. Encountered the NF, BNP, C-18 and all the other manifestations. I have a diverse group of friends and the bonding narrative through it all has been poverty. There's always a space and a place where we can find s...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thursday 3rd June) Leeds to break the bank for Belgium star

It started after the GF murder and it was all about BLM to start with. Its the PL that has decided to distance itself from the movement over the last year. I'm with Irish Ian on this one perhaps take the knee at the start and end of the season. The majority of people imo understand the racism messa...

Re: Gianni Alioski ***New Contract***

Sorry guys, We need better. Completely agree, no time for sentiment on this one. He really isn't consistent enough and too much of a liability most times. We need several quality signings over the summer, if we seriously want to push into the top 6. The club are clearly aware of this and will hopef...

Re: Gianni Alioski- Potential racism allegation.

Idiots, I think. Ambrose Bierce defined "idiot" as a member of a large and powerful tribe whose influence in human affairs has always been dominant and controlling. Ambrose Bierce, now there's a name you don't hear too often. I love some of his horror work, it's right up there with Lovecraft. As to...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wednesday 5th May) Do Leeds need another striker

Yes, we absolutely do need another more clinical striker, as our lack of firepower has really been evident in the past few games. Rodrigo is not an orthodox striker and Bamford has gone off the boil a little bit. It is pretty absurd that we don't have adequate cover in that area. Ideally, I would lo...

Well I have my opinions which funnily enough are not far off the mark quite often...I don't get paid 1m a year for my opinions or ideas though... Your opinions are often not too far of the mark and refreshing indeed. Once you get the Smudge stamp of approval, then they they should have some real va...

Re: Today's Games - Manure v Liverpool game postponed

Good on the Scummers, they've often been proactive when it comes to how the club is being managed. It's a shame Leeds fans were not as active during the tenure of Master Bates, as he pillaged and sucked the life out of the club.

Re: Where is our goal threat coming from?

IMO relying on the likes of Klich, Harrison, Alioski, Cooper and basically the championship old guard risks the club becoming the blunts mark 2. We are struggling now to score goals in the same way that the blunts did in their first (successful) season back in the PL when they finished 9th. They ha...

Re: Positives & Negatives v Brighton (a) (one of each please)

Orange Box - some of us have been saying for all the time that we have been on here that people should be free to express opinions about players and the manager without getting intolerant reactions such as ' knee jerk bullsh*t ' from people who don't agree with a particular point of view. I totally...

plus - Thought Koch played well. Minus - the usual knee jerk bullshit on forums .. No overreaction, that was dross today. Perhaps a positive is that some of them won't be around next season. Talking of bullshit, it seems there's an abundance of that when it comes to the Tyler Roberts love fest.

Re: Brighton v Leeds Utd Match Thread - Kalvin Injured

Looked very much like a midtable Championship side. Without Phillips and Rapha we offer practically nothing. We need to look to the summer now to bring in some much needed quality, and offload the likes of Alio, Klich, Roberts and Poveda to start with.

Dallas needs to be back in the midfield for starters!
It's because they should be playing in the Championship. Far too many passengers out there.
