Re: Manchester City Thread - Pep/Ronaldo....

Dear god I hope Pep manages England. He'd get some seriously good play out of the current/upcoming crop of players.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thursday 26th August) - USA International striker linked with loan move to Elland Road

Dike or Brownhill would be a welcome addition to the squad, I just can't really see anything else happening. If Llorente isn't back by Burnley, I think we'll just about get the win like last season. If Llorente is back, I think we'll smash them like last season. Either way, we're the better side and...

Re: Costa and Roberts

I thought Roberts did well against Everton, helped Jack out a great deal with his constant movement and made it very difficult for their defenders to mark their men.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wednesday 25th August) Leeds leave it late

Doesn't matter how long it takes, 3 nil is 3 nil. It's harder than it looks to break down a packed defence, just ask Man City after our last meeting... I wouldn't take any amount of money to be in Bielsa's shoes. Either he plays U23s in the game and gets complaints that he doesn't take the cup serio...

Re: Is anybody happy?

Leeds, like Bielsa himself, may become a victim of our own success. But in the end it's not like a few peoples' opinions on a forum or social media actually matter. Most if not all (my own included) are from a position of ignorance. All we have to go on are our own limited impressions and the small ...

Re: Leeds Utd v Crewe Alex Match Thread - Marcelo Bielsa names strong XI, Forshaw starts first game since 2019

To be fair, Crewe defended like their lives depended on it. I remember us defending just like that against Arsenal? Throwing everyone against everything. Possibly the season before we were relegated from the premier league. (I could be wrong and I dont mind being corrected )You know, football is ab...

Re: Leeds Utd v Crewe Alexandra. 2nd Round of the Carabao Cup

It's another cup game which obviously makes one feel apprehensive. After experiencing the Rochdale, Bradford City & Sutton fiasco's I decided not to attend anymore cup-ties. It hasn't got any better under Bielsa as we've lost v Newport, Crawley, QPR, Stoke & Hull all with weakened teams so ...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Monday 23rd August) Honours even at Elland Road

Because Bielsa has a way to play, he has drummed it into the players to try walk the ball in the net, not gonna happen, a poormans man city if you like, whats wrong with shooting on sight a little more often !! Midfield and defence need tightening, getting Llorente & Koch fit are paramount, I'v...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Monday 23rd August) Honours even at Elland Road

Was just thinking the same, love to know whose favourite he was. Just reading Connor Gallagher comments on why he chose palace: “There has been a lot of tactical sessions – team-wise. I have not been here too long, but I have got the whole season to learn from him.” “Obviously he was a top player b...

At least we've been more our usual selves. A bit too much in Cooper's case, but it's positive after last game.

We can win this but won't turn me nose up at a point either all things considered.
