Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thursday 29th July) - Stalemate at Ewood Park

Afternoon EB et all Managed to watch most of the game last night and now I know where the little buggers hide it on IPTV I'll be watching the remaining preseason games :) I feel it was a good pre-season game, Blackburn players gave it a good go and it definitely wasn't a poor game and most of the p...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thursday 29th July) - Stalemate at Ewood Park

Evening folks, I think it was in a pre season two seasons back that Costa started as CF then. Perhaps it is one of MBs mad plans. I was underwhelmed by the prospect of Gallagher so all is good. The more I think about it the more I am hopeful of a Gelhardt / Greenwood breakthrough this season. Unles...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thursday 29th July) - Stalemate at Ewood Park

Only managed to watch the first half last night so can only comment on that, but all I will say is there was a time around 35 mins where we were banging the ball around their box at about 200mph. It looked terrifying to defend against and I see that particular passage as being what Bielsa's football...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tuesday 27th July) - Anxiety over lack of transfer activity at Elland Road

Did anyone else think when we played the likes of Liverpool or Man U, we gave them a little too much respect? I remember someone, Kalvin I'm sure, saying exactly that after the first Man City game. That will change this season, we were noticeably more confident in the latter half of the season. It'...

Saying that, Victor Orta said he wanted to get signings concluding a month ago!! We are now a few days away from Augustin, and the season starts in just over two weeks!!!! Don't panic MB  I don't think it was meant to be taken literally that we would have every single one of our signings don...

Probably going straight into the first managers job in the Championship when someone inevitably gets sacked before Christmas.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tuesday 27th July) - Anxiety over lack of transfer activity at Elland Road

I do not consider our current transfer business as disappointing. The LB position was a pressing priority and that has been sorted to a large degree. Midfield from an offensive perspective, even in the absence of a new major signing still has plenty to be positive about. We haven’t seen the best fr...

Not even halfway through the window yet and we've filled our highest priority position. Absolutely no reason whatsoever to flap.

Can't help but feel this 'anti-Turkish' (not anti-THAT club) sentiment has been manufactured a bit by the media here. Can't say I've come across anybody with those sorts of feelings.

Happy for Alioski, he'll always be one of our promotion legends. May he get rich, fat and happy.

Ian Povada HIT or MISS Will he make the grade this season? Neither. He's got time on his side (he's only 21) and if he can replicate his form in the first City game, where he gave Mendy the biggest runaround of his life then he'll be fantastic. Having Raphinha around to learn from will only help.
