Re: Cricket 2023/2024

A mixture of the kookaburra ball and rain delays I reckon, although what excuse Yorkshire can have for drawing that last match I don't know.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tuesday 16th April) Why no 'B' plan

Yes Farke should stay. I actually think we'd have a stronger second year under him much like we did with Bielsa. Most people thought Farke would be taking us up at the first attempt given his record at this level and he still might but I'd have settled for a top 6 finish and a good season after the ...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Monday 15th April) Leeds are falling apart - again

I understand why Farke made the subs, he's done it before and it worked. All seems very desperate though, didn't work this time. Thought Gruev was having one of his best games before he was taken off.

Those set piece stats are pretty damning.

Re: Joel Piroe

Piroe didn't play striker for Swansea it seems, He hasn't really played striker for us. He's best coming from deep and ultimately I think, and this is only my opinion mind, he's an 8 or goal scoring central mid. Geo is clearly the better 10, only Pablo has played that position better for us than hi...

Re: Joel Piroe

I think that sometimes managers and fans can place too much store on experience - playing the ' experienced ' Bamford and Piroe in the last 5 games at no 9 has given us a league form position of 21st over those 5 games. Yet the youth and energy of a Joseph is left sidelined - sacrificed at the alta...

Re: Joel Piroe

I think how we have used Joel this year has been criminal. He's gone from the hottest property in the Championship to this. Not only does he look like he has forgotten how to score but also what he actually is supposed to do. Almost as if his goal scoring brain is now stuck in pre-season mode really...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Monday 1st April) Not a Good Friday for Whites

Watford were well up for it first half and I thought a point was a fair result overall. These are Liam's last few games for Leeds and he still has a part to play imo. Everyone seemed a bit disjointed first half not just Cooper. Think if we had brought Joseph and Piroe on with half hour to go we woul...

Re: Sky TV

Sky TV. Fooking sh1t to some. Fooking Godsend to others. Definately the latter for me these days. Personally I'm far off retirement and work various shifts around the clock. I can't get to any away games and virtually my only chance of seeing us at home would be a Saturday afternoon 3pm slot so I'm ...

How some of these "artists" thought it would be a good idea to release these videos or even get behind a mic in the first place is beyond me..

So bad, some of them hilariously so..

For me his job is promotion, survival then stabalization.

Last time we went promotion, stabalization then relegation.

Funny old game.

Re: England Cricket 2023

Bazball has too many weaknesses to survive long. It's test cricket not 3 day 20/20 cricket. You have to have innings builders as step an bash it has a low success rate And you can absolutely play yourself in, my dad was a first class opening bat who always taught me to play myself in for 20 overs o...

Mastermind on BBC2 starts at 7.30 and one contestants specialist subject is Leeds United. As the specialist subjects come first they should be done by 7.45 just in time to switch over.

Re: Anyone else losing the faith

Hey all Merry Christmas, Not losing no faith. 2070 league minutes played thus far, outplayed for just 45 of them first half at Southampton. Even in the other defeats and draws we were never outplayed, just had off days in front of goal. It happens, It'll happen again. We are in a good place. Will be...

Re: Re: Millwall v Leeds Player Ratings

Meslier 7 - Safe hands all afternoon. Came for crosses very well and made some good saves. Ayling 7 - Good stuff. I'd start Shacks for Hull though, not because Ayling did anything wrong but just not sure he can manage 3 games in 6 days. Rodon 8 - Solid and dependable throughout. Defense deserved the...

Re: Is Rutter the new Thomas Brolin.

Needs time...cant judge him on 20 min cameos... Perhaps after being at the club for 7 months we need to be asking why he is only still having cameos. I can only assume he must be as poor in training as what I've seen of him when he comes on. We can only say what we see on the pitch and it will rema...
