Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Friday 25th March) With Radrizzani at the helm, are we seeing Ridsdale V2.0

Don't want Kalvin or Raph to go but they will. Key thing about Radz stewardship is how much he holds out for, what he does with the subsequent cash. If he's gonna give it to Orta or worse still pocket it, well be relegated by xmas next season. Ive seen nothing yet to suggest otherwise but we can but...

Or if we had players remotely good enough to step in when they were injured

Maybe, maybe not. Well never know. What is obvious is that you don't try to compete in the pl with one striker, no number 10. Pointless not strengthening the team and then using the injury excuse

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wednesday 23rd March) - Cash strapped Barca sniffing round Raphinha

So a question. See that Leeds have proved to be unambitious, despite splurging a hell of a lot of dosh around. Who should we have signed to get us CL next season? Where would the money of come from and how would you justify it? Over to you. Who's looking for Champions League?. Mid table would do. H...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wednesday 23rd March) - Cash strapped Barca sniffing round Raphinha

Rapha is ambitious and rightly so. He can see from our lack of investment our current owners have no ambition other than to avoid relegation for as long as possible. He'd be a fool to waste another year with present setup. Best we can expect is to get 75m and invest that with another 75m on the six ...

Ive no doubt well be held liable for the JKA fiasco. Amazing how some still rate Orta for finding him and Firpo. Mind you Bielsa must have ok'd them too. Awful business. If we survive, there will need to be huge activity in the summer. Hope well have someone better than Orta looking after the scouting

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thursday 24th February) Leeds concede six in midweek massacre

Ive said for a long time, Bielsa is a top class championship manager. He's proven he's that. He's totally out of his depth at pl level though. Obvious for all to see who want to see it. I love the guy and wish it had worked out for him but results have reached the predictable embarrassing stage. Mor...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Monday 21st February) - Leeds lose out in six goal thriller

Given our defensive fiasco in every game, we won't get twelve points. We have to hop some of the bottom three only win one or two games. Major personnel changes at the club from top to bottom regardless of what division we are in next season. The Bamford Philips excuse is wearing very thin too

Re: Our rearranged game v Liverpool (a)

I’d prefer us to rest a lot of players for the Liverpool game similar to meaningless cup games. It’ll likely be a drubbing at anfield so why risk more injuries. We’ve lots of other games to pick up the required points in without that one

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wednesday 2nd February) Bielsa snubbed Harry Winks, Aaron Ramsey and van de Beek

The last time we spent millions that we didn't have we ended up spending 16 years out of the top flight. I'll take the odd drubbing anyway while we steadily improve the strength of our squad. The key words being strengthening the squad. That's what needs to happen. We are weaker than last season, o...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wednesday 2nd February) Bielsa snubbed Harry Winks, Aaron Ramsey and van de Beek

Well said Eire this is the crux of the matter. There are two schools of thought on this forum, one that accepts, and thinks we should be happy with our place among the also rans and that avoiding relegation year on year can be considered success. The other, I suspect mainly comprising us older fans...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wednesday 2nd February) Bielsa snubbed Harry Winks, Aaron Ramsey and van de Beek

How could we sign Aaronson for the summer. we don't know what division well be in. We certainly wouldn't be forking out 20m to bring him to the Championship. There's clearly going to be a major investment required when we try moving from our current ambition of survival to a mid table team or better...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tuesday 1st February) - Deathly silence at LS11 as the clock struck 11:00pm

If Bielsa's telling the club we don't need signings because of the u23s, they should be asking him why he doesn't play them then! Great point in fairness. Ill probably get pelters for this but Bielsa clearly a fantastic coach and getting the maximum from players. However there's an aspect missing t...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tuesday 1st February) - Deathly silence at LS11 as the clock struck 11:00pm

How many points are needed? 34 is normally touch and go. Normally 37 is safe, though Newcastle were relegation in the 16/17 season with 37 points and during the 10/11 season Birmingham / Blackpool were both relegated with 39 points Hope its not close to 40 as can't realistically see us crossing tha...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Monday 31st January) - Deadline Day: All the latest transfer news from Elland Road

Noises from the club for months was we were doing no January business. Understandable as they can't find a player in the world better than what we have with funds available. They were honest. When will fans ever learn though. Eight weeks of throwing hundreds of names about, expecting severals and wh...

I agree with so many of the last posts. This window a disgrace. Ortas had god knows how long to find a number 10. Probably three years and what has he come up with? And forget that nonsense they’ll only sign better than we have. We don’t have a 10 at all for god sake

Kev, if he signs a new contract that will be a wonderful January transfer window. I've been saying all the way through that we have enough in the squad to stay up, and I still believe that. Rapha will go in the summer, and hopefully we'll be £100m richer to strengthen and still be a PL team without...

What’s point in promotion to pl if we’re still forced to sell our best, unable to sign anyone apparently. Smacks of yester year. Thought we’d moved on in that department
