Re: Class difference between U21's & the Premier League.

Meslier was a first team signing not a u23, he was BPF's replacement. He played u23s for fitness reasons as he wasn't getting a game. You're just speculating, no guarantees they will make it to the first team, and if so their future value decreases. Gyabi is very hyped up on here, but Kenneh played...

Re: Class difference between U21's & the Premier League.

We've only made a profit on Davis, the rest have been given away for free. That £1m doesn't make a dent in the £40m odd we've spent. When we have no money to improve the first team, then it becomes an issue. I'd rather have spent that kind of money on improving coaching and development at the acade...

Re: Today's Games

How is "Football Union of" Russia playing against Kyrgyzstan today? Surely they shouldn't be even recognized as an international team in any capacity while they're involved in the invasion of another sovereign nation.

I remember Son throwing the dummy out when he was subbed a couple of weeks ago. At the same time as Spurs were interested in Dan James. Opportunity missed?

Re: Academy Dreams - Leeds United

Watched the first two episodes. It's ok, but it's like a season review rather than anything in depth. There was a voice over about the "world class players" who've come from the academy, then a brief mention of Milner and Phillips and that's it. No mention of O'Leary or Revie players. It ...

Re: Class difference between U21's & the Premier League.

For all the money we've wasted on hoarding young players, the best two are products of our academy, Cresswell and Gray. The rest will end up in League One/Championship at a significant loss. It's not wasted. We make exponential gains on a few that far outweigh the minimal losses we make on others.

Re: Class difference between U21's & the Premier League.

I just understand it will either happen or it won't and it's often down to opportunity rather than talent. Rads/Orta rebuilt the youth set up from the ground up but originally it was built with getting out of the Championship in mind. when we achieved that well ahead of schedule we needed a second ...

Re: What is the point in persevering with Victor Orta?

Feel I need to sprinkle a little Orta appreciation on all this negativity Knock every transfer that didn't work out. They're small costs compared to the gains we've made Financially look at: Raphinha, Harrison, Meslier, Strujik, Gelhardt, Perkins, Summerville, Gnonto ... and many more For every Jay ...

Re: Sonny Perkins

Sonny Perkins has continued his recent sublime run of form by scoring a first half hat-trick for England Under-19s against Georgia in their Under-19 European Championships qualifier 6-0 victory. Really like what he's shown so far. He's scored in every game for the U-21's this season. Scored a few d...

If he's up to playing for Italy against premier league players like Walker, Dier, Maguire, Shaw, James - then he is premier league ready.

Looks a worthy impact sub for us right now.

Was a shock to see his face watching the Wrexham documentary. Absolute fraud of a man who shows it is possible to fail and fall up. How is he still in football Just watching Episode 9 of Welcome to Wrexham. Interesting scene where Rob and Ryan meet the volunteers. Of them says (paraphrasing) I'm no...

Watching Germany v Hungary (don't have TV on the England game)

Hungary up 1-0. Sweet justice. The German fans were throwing stuff at the guy taking the corner. Hungary scored from the corner. Wonderful

Aaronson has suffered two knee in the back challenges, a knee on knee in which he came off worse and a possible red card studs down the back of the leg challenge in this “friendly “ international.
