We fooled Pep. Current form showing he vastly overpaid.

Re: Mateo Joseph
If Racing Santandar or Espanyol come knocking he'll be off, why wait around when the "fraud " gets on before him, I wouldn't blame the lad, Gelhartd will also be gonefor the same reason, although Joe probably isn't good enough we'll never know as he isn't given the chance, and looks like th e same ...

Re: Derby pre match chat.
Yeah. Tanaka/Rothwell should be ideal for home games like this.mentalcase wrote: ↑Mon Dec 02, 2024 1:31 pm WHY DO WE NEED A DEFENSIVE MIDFIELDER AGAINST f**king DERBY ???
Sorry cap lock on.
We ought to be taking the game to them , not being defensive from the off.

Re: Derby pre match chat.
Yeah, we meet at 9.30am (for lunchtime KO’s) but it’s not the same somehow. I was listening a bit more to the early KO debate regarding the Blackburn game. I have to admit that schedule changes like that are even more infuriating. Not switched for TV but for the local police. If that's the case the ...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Monday 2nd December) Whites drop to third after inept display
As above, I did say our current point average will get us to 89 (89.4). And that should be enough for promotion. But we can't rest on that. We stick with the same plan and some coaches seem to have it sussed. That said, most teams don't have the quality to make it count, even if they do have a plan ...

Re: Goals from our substitutes....
Makes me cross! Piroe turns up when he wants. :x In one of our recent away games, Piroe realised he was about to be subbed, he decided to become more involved showing his best skills of the match, prior to going off. I know the incident you're talking about and I didn't quite read it the same way ...

Re: Goals from our substitutes....
I am not sure using Piroe as a super sub would be good for squad harmony. If his role is to come on with 30 mins to go and score goals it will not keep the lad happy, everyone wants to start. Personally I would always start Joseph against the physical teams (West Brom, Millwall, PNE etc, as he has ...

Re: Derby pre match chat.
I'd start Wober as the DMF/Sweeper, that tightens up the defence while putting a much better 8 in play in Tanaka I think Wober would be ideal for the role. He'd be defensively better than even Ampadu and Gruev in the role. And although not a natural midfielder, he is more than good enough ...

Yeah, we meet at 9.30am (for lunchtime KO’s) but it’s not the same somehow. In fairness, I just enjoyed any reason to drink. That early KO would have killed me. Like you, I'd start at 9:30. But I wouldn't finish until the pubs closed. Hence the reason I don't any more. Hope you enjoy your beer bru ...

Re: Derby pre match chat.
Many don’t understand how the day is not just about the game, but about having a couple of pints with mates, a bite to eat and a good chat with Mr 64 before the game. That’s all taken away with the 12.30 KO 🤬🤬🤬 I don't recall any noon kick offs when I was going to games (27 years ago). But I do reme ...

Re: Derby pre match chat.
Meslier Bogle Firpo Wober Rodon Struijk Gnonto Tanaka Joseph Solomon Ramazani With midweek games and suspensions, I was able to fully predict the last two starting 11's Clean slate this week so I'm not sure how he'll go. Back 4 and midfield seem obvious. Certain he'll play Aaronson. But the wings ...

Re: Derby pre match chat.
Have been speaking to ST holders of other Championship teams and they all agree these early KO are ruining the match day experience so quite a few are thinking of jacking it in. Of course they will still go but just not every game. Honestly I'm fuming about it as the EFL board agreed everything ...

Re: Derby pre match chat.
12.30KO 🤬🤬🤬 If we have to have 12:30 KO's, I'm happier with it being after a week's rest. It does give us a couple of extra hours advantage on a new week of 3 games. And it's at home. It really should not affect us. Sympathies to anyone attending that has to get up extra early. Ridiculous hour for m ...

Re: Mateo Joseph
Has anyone stoppped to think that this was the third game in a 6 days for some of our players who were also away on International duty? Tanaka especially was running on fumes yesterday, both he and AAronsom had been halfway round the world and had to come back and play in that mad game in Wales ...

Re: Cricket 2024
England wrapped up an impressive win in the first test. Against one of the best teams today, that was a good performance. Sorry to all those in the UK - this one was obviously way too late. They wrapped it up with some destructive batting from Bethell. It was a good opportunity for him. Only chasing ...
