Re: Calls for England to be banned from the World Cup...

Apparently migrant workers lives don't matter in Qatar, given 34 have already been killed building the stadia for the World Cup.

FiFA have blood on their hand for this one as well as the brown envelopes in their arse pockets.

Re: Aston Villa Thread

If Citeh pay £100m for Grealish and we've got Harrison from Citeh for £10m it shows what a ridiculous sport this is.

Harrison out stats Grealish by about 30% but comes at a 10th of the price. So cracking business on our behalf.

I would hope Pep will stop the blatant diving if the deal goes ahead.

Re: Today's Games

Hate to say it but Chelski relegated Citeh to a Tony Pulis long throw in side.

No doubt Fwank will be taking credit for putting that side together.

Re: Labour smashed by the Tories in Hartlepool...

I see Starmer is taking full responsibility for the Hartlepool defeat by sacking Angela Rayner.

Thanks for the point towards Frisby's Life After The State Subs Bench, it's now on order. I have read The Black Swan so I'm intriged.

Like Bielsa, this forum both educates and entertains.

Re: Leeds Utd v Tottenham Hotspur Match Thread - Unchanged starting XI, Phillips and Raph make the bench

Thought Dallas and Harrison had a great first half. Swapping sides seemed to ruin JH he was awful after. Klich looked back to his old self, great to see. Roberts was Roberts though. Koch, Llorente and Struijk were immense as was Ali. I think the swsp of wings with Rapha going on the left was to kee...

And that defender is a replacement for Ben White, who Brighton wanted 30m+ for, so it really just our Championship side.

Re: Big six proposal

Neville and Carragher both have been bigging up Bamford's interview and the Leeds players wearing the protest shirts. Also lots of praise for James Milner too, who as captain for the night was probably the bravest of all those who spoke out. As an aside I thought Milner was their best player by far ...

Swap Llorente for White and that was our Championship side.
Get something from Scum then a nice run in our European spot.

Pundits still just wanted to talk about Citeh after the game.

Bielsa's game plan - wear Stones out by letting him run the ball in safe areas all game then do him over in injury time - sheer genius.

Over the chuffing moon!

Who said we can't defend.

We don't need to spend on a back up for Bambi or even Meslier - we have Dallas!!!

He gave a yellow so no clear and obvious error, unlike last week on Roberts.

Re: Covid passports

I'm not sure about for pubs but it does make sense for foreign travel, both for people coming to UK or us traveling elsewhere. If the government don't do it, it won't be long before a private company starts to do it for airlines etc. It may also encourage the anti-vac brigade to come to their senses...

Played amateur, mostly for Punch Bowl from York, playing in Division 1 of the West Yorkshire League back then - happy days!
