Smashing player - very instrumental in our 1992 title win.

Don't remember what happened to him.
He got quite fat and there was an autobiography.

Re: Leeds United v Hull City - MATCH THREAD - Bielsa makes eleven changes

Reference last years' cup games, they absolutely didn't matter. Someone mentioned that we've now had 2 defeats this season and it's unacceptable (or words to that effect). Did we all see the manner of that first defeat - we played superbly and deserved to draw or even win. On that scintillating show...

I agree about de Paul, we need his class. Regarding defence, I think some opinions might change on a wet February day with 2 defenders crocked and an important match against good opposition to play. Remember our defence (arguably) got us promoted and it could yet be our safety net this season. I'm n...

Re: Liverpool v Leeds United - MATCH THREAD - Cooper out, Struijk starts

A very welcome return - shame about the 2 penalties but we'll improve.
A heart-stopper at times but yet I felt really comfortable watching our performance.

I foresee at least a top-half finish.
Much will depend on our next performance.

Liverpool had better watch out when they come to ER, especially if we can have our fans back.
