Re: RIP Twiggster

Very sad news. Twiggster was always good craic on here, remember him as one of the big characters on here when I joined and was very welcoming. Would’ve enjoyed his take on Leeds over the past few years! Sleep easy Twiggs

Re: Marc Roca- RUMOUR

With 5 subs next season we need to add depth and quality to the squad and for 10m this looks like a great signing of we get it over the line

Re: Here's to our third season in the top flight

What a season, I hope there wasn’t too much angst on here! What a feeling when Harrison scored on Sunday nearly made the horrible season worth it. Fair play to Burnley for going on the run they did and put us under pressure. Let’s hope the board realise the errors they made and the 49rs put their mo...

Re: Leeds Utd v Brighton Match Thread - Casilla starts in net as Meslier missing for Leeds

If Meslier was out due to covid, would that have meant the training ground was closed so we couldn’t train for part of the week? We looked off and far from sharp today, lots of wrong options and stray passes. We never really got going. Really disappointed after that result, but fair play to Brighton...

Re: MB mid term report

1. Man management. Totally mis managed the talents of Pablo, dropping him for kicking a water bottle ffs. Kiko again mismanaged, you cannot demote a staff member and expect them to still give their best....should have got rid when banned. JKA, dunno what happened there, he wanted him, but then didn...

Re: Leeds Utd v Brighton Match Thread - Casilla starts in net as Meslier missing for Leeds

Do what? We've not had enough time to put a new one in. Was last fully reconstructed 25 years ago with the playing surface last replaced in 2013. They have worked on it a lot but the weather here over the past week and a half probably set them back quite a bit. Agree, the pitch wasn’t in a state fo...

We’re second best by a distance so far. We need to keep hold of the ball

Big game for Kiko. He’s done little to warrant a place in the team, hopefully he can step up today

Re: Leeds Utd v Brighton Match Thread

Brighton have a very depleted squad according to the Guardian they have Tariq Lamptey, ( 11) Aaron Connolly,(10) Danny Welbeck,(9),Adam Lallana(14), and Alireza Jahanbakhsh(15) all missing. appearances in brackets Three strikers out. All we will need to do is keep Maupay ( 18) shackled. Great. Brig...

Re: Crawley Town v Leeds Utd Match Thread - Cooper returns as Bielsa makes seven changes

That really was shocking. Fair play to Crawley they put in a great performance. Kikos last game for us hopefully, a lot of poor performances but that guy didn’t even try to put his hand up for Meslier’s starting spot

Great 3 points against a Burnley side that know how to stay in this league, I’m sure all the doomsday merchants will slag off most of the team as being not good enough

Re: Manchester Utd v Leeds Utd Match Thread

A horrible result. Far too easy for them to score. As has been said Burnley and WBA are massive games. Burnley will be tough, but I’d back our lads to pick up 6 from those two games which would put us in such a good position, massive run of games

True, but I’d imagine clubs won’t have a much cash to spend this window. People were saying we over spent on him at 7m only a few months back, 20-30m I’d send him off happily and remember him as a great player for us

Re: Leeds v Newcastle Match Thread - Unchanged starting XI to face Magpies

Seriously? Around top of the scoring charts, January window, British, and you’d take £20m? :duno: If it meant we invested in a replacement yes. Bamford has done great for us and is in great form this season, well beyond anyone could’ve expected, but playing in this team is a strikers dream if they’...

20m would be tempting the guy has done so well this season but all those misses over the past few seasons would make me happy to see us cash in on his good form. We need more of a presence in the box
