The whole management team, including Farke, who has a big say on transfers.

Re: Manor Solomon

He's been brilliant. He isn't the same player he was in Ukraine, not slow bur can see he's not quite as dynamic as he was. But he's quick in the head and great close control. Been fantastic. Very glad he's staying fit. And a debt of gratitude owed to his stunning Mrs Dana convinced him to sign and ...

DDB220 wrote: Thu Feb 06, 2025 9:39 am The brilliance of that save was not that he kept it out it was his ability to palm the ball away from the danger area. Every keeper has their ups and downs in what is a long career.
As Jay mentioned, similar to Gordon Banks magnificent save to thwart Pele.

Re: Manor Solomon

How good is Soloman? I remember being amazed with his talent in three or four games whilst on loan at Fulham, he scored an absolute beauty against us at Craven Cottage. I knew when we signed him what a talent we had on our hands as long as he remained fit, this current period is probably is longest ...

Leeds v Millwall. Correct Score/First Scorer. 12.15 Saturday

Table up later.

And before any one rattles my cage, I know some of you have four points!

I won't manage to update the table today as I'm working this morning, a bowls match this afternoon, table tennis this evening, pub for a nightcap at 9pm :tumbler:

Table update scheduled sometime tomorrow.

Re: Joel Piroe

He was very good last night, first early goal settled any nerves and he was clinical with that chance. Should have had at least one more, but the main thing is that he is getting into the right positions to score. He will get 20 goals this season without a doubt providing he stays fit. Agree, Joel ...

Re: Coventry City v Leeds Utd Match Thread

Matt is probably the fairest minded opposition fan in the championship, goes home & away to Coventry games. He has always insisted Leeds would win the league.

Good footage & atmosphere from the game.

Re: Coventry City v Leeds Utd Match Thread

That result was inches away from being 2-2 ,I've never seen us miss so many chances by so many players. But yes I'm starting to belive we can get promoted if we can keep our nerve and not bottle it like we have been known to do in the past 👍 I wouldn't say inches away, yes Meslier made two ex ...

Re: Coventry City v Leeds Utd Match Thread

Will some of our negative fans have faith in us now? Why some of our fans thought Coventry would draw or even beat us is baffling. I suppose if you don't watch other championship matches apart from Leeds, one can convince themselves the likes of Cardiff & Coventry were on a good run, so we'd ...

BBC Breakfast News totally ignored Leeds United's victory on their sports roundup. Firstly, the Newcastle v Arsenal game. Slot discussing Liverpool's game tonight. Celtic's game last night. Women's football. Female driver to compete in a Grand Prix race. They reported on the Blackburn v Preston game ...

I was in the kop for that Southampton & the thrashing of Man U prior to the Saints game.

As kids/teenagers, we always got in the ground at 1pm so we could stand on the concrete boulders of the barriers. Wonderful memories!

Bogle is like an extra winger in this Leeds team.

Bielsa would have loved him.

Both had 20/25 minutes good periods, but they weren't sustained performances.

I have to say I fear Sunderland at ER more than the Blunts game at Bramall Lane.

Dovin's stops wasn't of the high quality of Meslier's two brilliant saves.
