Re: Coronavirus - Lockdown in Leeds precariously close

Of course we're being manipulated, treated like we're thick. You only have to look at the s**t load of propaganda dished up daily..and if freedom of speech is under threat then that's another indicator. Has anyone considered that this spike is occurring after the enforced wearing of face masks whic...

Re: Here we go again.........

Do we think we need to merge the two covid threads, it's a contentious enough issue as it is without opening a second front. Hectors original post about panic buying seems to have been long forgotten Hector started the topic  I nearly merged the topic the other day but I thought I'd let it run...

Re: Here we go again.........

Sweden for me has throughout had the most sensible approach, good advice and letting people do things at their own risk. True they had a lot of deaths early on but over 75% of those were in nursing homes which a lockdown wouldn't have prevented - protecting the vulnerable has been a big failing thr...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Monday 24th September) Where does Llorente's signing leave Cooper?

Unfortunately, there is little room for sentiment in football, particularly in the PL, so if Llorente turns out to be better than Cooper and Cooper loses his place then so be it. Cooper has been a loyal, honest captain for us and that shouldn't be forgotten but the bottom line is we need a squad th...

Re: Here we go again.........

It isn't though as those events would have brought a rise in cases there and then. not a few months later. There wasn't a spike in Liverpool after they celebrated winning the title, likewise there wasn't an immediate spike in Leeds after fans celebrated together after winning promotion. What we hav...

Just hope some more of these star-studded signings come off, we need more quality in PL

I'm a fan of Robbie however Gotts won't gain much first-team football if any this season, Hull have shown interest for a few weeks now

Re: Here we go again.........

How long will football fans put up with the nonsense and how long can a socially distanced chain of football supporters stretch, before government finally takes notice? What nonsense? I'm a fanatic (home & away) even over the rubbish years pre-Bielsa rarely missing a game. however I'm prepared to m...
